Nintendo should make _every_ level a ninji level. Like, keep the top 20 runs for each level, and allow players to turn ninjis on after beating the level. Each run under a reasonable limit (like... median * 1.5 maybe?) would show up on the histogram, and the top 20 would show up as ninjis. That way, it would offer most of the ninji experience, but wouldn't take a huge amount of extra space on the servers.

There's three secrets that I have found in this level. The first one is in the screen at the very beginning where you shoot the key and unlock the door. If you go to the far right wall to the right of the locked door, there's a hidden block that has a 1up in it if you jump up while against the far right wall. The second secret is taking the Koopa Clown Car up into a pipe in the section where the Monty Moles pop out of the ground. Inside the pipe is a room with a 10 coin and a Boom Boom that is trapped by blocks. It's supposed to represent how it looks in the original Legend of Zelda game when Link enters a cave, is given a sword and is warned about how dangerous it is out there and to take the sword. The third and final secret I found is towards the end of the level just before the final three POW blocks. If you climb the tower to the top and jump up in the center of the top of the tower, there's a hidden block there as well that lets you jump on the moving platform that lets you be able to get the coins making up the three triforce triangles in the sky above the last three POW blocks.

This makes me realise just how poorly used the Link power up is. It has a bunch of mechanics that have really cool interactions with different objects and can create some awesome stuff, and yet everyone chooses to either make tutorial levels or long, boring “dungeon” levels that are just extended tutorial levels.

I don't know why they would stop Ninji speedruns... Nintendo said they would make this Mario Maker as long lasting as possible I feel like Ninjis help with that. Every time there's a new one, I get into playing the game for a month or two again.. then I get a bit bored, stop and then repeat for the next Ninji speedrun
