I'm just curious if in 1977 the line was connected to Jatibarang via the northwest line? If so, the line would have crossed with the 1067mm Tegal-Prupuk line, to the south of ex-Adiwerna.

Please see my other answer. I don't have access to copies of old maps as I am away from home, but the line north-east from Jatibarang and north-west from Pangka will probably have served as connections to the main line (at Adiwerna?) and the fact that they also connected the mills would have been a 'bonus'. In the old days, most mills had some kind of connection to the main line. A short one might be 1067mm gauge, longer ones would have been the mill narrow gauge. If you look at my Sweet Dreams feature on my website, you will see some references to such things.
