നേര് എന്ന സിനിമയെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു റേപ്പ് സീൻ നന്നായി എടുത്തു എന്നാണ് തോന്നിയത്. അതിലെ പോലെ റൊമാന്റിസൈസ് ചെയ്ത് കാണിച്ചില്ല ഇതിൽ. കാണുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകനു ഇരയോട് അനുകമ്പ തോന്നുകയും റേപിസ്റ്റുകളോട് ദേഷ്യം തോന്നുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പോലെ ആകണം അത്തരം രംഗം ഷൂട്ട്‌ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. അത് ആരുടെ POV ആണേലും അങ്ങനെ ആകാവു എന്ന് മാത്രം. അതിൽ ഈ സിനിമ നീതി പുലർത്തി എന്നാണ് തോന്നിയത്. POV മാറുന്നത് അനുസരിച്ചു ആ സീനിന്റെ intensity കുറയ്ക്കാം എന്നല്ലാതെ വേറെ കാര്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. അതൊക്കെ film makers ന്റെ choice അല്ലെ. പിന്നെ കാണുന്ന പ്രേക്ഷകരെയും അനുസരിച്ചിരിക്കും. അത് totally subjective ആണ്. ഇത്തരം സീൻ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി ഇറക്കുമ്പോൾ ceritificate U/A പകരം A കൊടുക്കാമായിരുന്നു. അത് മാത്രമാണ് അക്കാര്യത്തിൽ negative ആയി തോന്നിയത്.

That rape is the main conflict of the film but they could have potrayed it in a different way wihout exposing the kissing and her body. Recently in so many movies this have done in a really great way as in maharaja the antagonist just entering the room and there itself it's understood. Rape is the one of the most brutal thing to woke the audience and so many people are commercialising it if you wanna show a rape u don't want to expose the victim.

They showed that kissing (without showing the kiss land) and they showed the character being exposed without showing nudity. What am I doing here? I am not defending the filmmaker. I am actually reviewing what you said in the comment. What was depicted felt what was necessary for the scene. You have a scene in pink. I still don’t know what that scene meant. But I guess it was an attempt to portray sexual assault without focusing (exposing) on the victim or the specific nature of the assault-and look what happened. That scene did have no effect . It just did not land. That’s what happens when you are ready to cut at the expense of story telling! Reminder-here the actress was not exposed. Even if they had exposed her, my opinion still would not change

A director can portray any violence in any way. He has the artistic freedom to do so. If you're disturbed by anything or its way of presentation, better close your eyes and ears during that scene. The only thing a director should consider is in the case of actors, where they should neither be minors nor mentally unstable people in violent or sexual scenes.

The film had a much fresher theme. It showed that despite having everything i-if two people(the opponents )act like they have nothing to lose , then they can seriously cause you harm. As those characters rightly said “they can’t see us. But we can see them” I don’t think it’s an explored angle at all. The hero kept loosing-that’s not explored at all. And that was how the movie went. It was a nice watch.

ഞാൻ സിനിമ കണ്ടത് വില്ലന്മാരുടെ പക്ഷത്തു നിന്നാണ്. നായകനോട് കണക്ഷൻ തോന്നാൻ മാത്രം ഒന്നും തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായില്ല. മറ്റു കഥപാത്രങ്ങളെ മികച്ചതക്കുമ്പോൾ സ്വന്തം കാരക്റ്റർ നന്നാക്കിയെടുക്കുന്നതിൽ ജോജു പരാജയപ്പെട്ടത്പോലെ തോന്നി. ജോജുവിന്റെ ഫൈറ്റ് ഒഴിച് ബാക്കി ഒന്നും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുൻ സിനിമകളുടെ അത്രപോലും വന്നില്ല.എന്നാലും കഥാപാത്ര രൂപീകരണം, കഥ പറയുന്ന രീതി, അഭിനയം എന്നിവ സിനിമയെ മികച്ചതക്കുന്നു.വില്ലന്മാർ നായകനെ സൈഡ് ആക്കി കളഞ്ഞു. അജ്ജാതി പെർഫോമൻസ്.
