Their not cheerleaders. Their called Colorguard actually. Cheerleaders never participate in anything band. Sure, they are dressed like cheerleaders, but they're called colorguard. They're the people who typically use flags n stuff or are backup dancers in a way. They mean just as much as band members too. They have to learn their dots, march in place and time, all while usually spinning flags, dancing, and trying not to hit the band members. In short, Bredon would have had too gone through the same processes as the band members to be apart of this. Which, judging by the band, I would estimate took at least practicing 5 times a week, for 4-5 hours in the time of football season.

@@seagoddess9937 I know this is a very late response to this, but in the Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time set, there were cheerleaders. The colorguard were just on the far side of the football field. The original commenter likely referred to that song in the show.

@@apray99 I actually genuinely don't think those are cheerleaders. Sure, they're dressed as cheerleaders but so are 90% of colorguard. Plus you think a college band has 12-14 colorguard members only? My high school has 25 at least. Plus the way their moving is super in time to the music and with each other. Cheerleaders just don't do that from my understanding. In fact in my original post I even said "Sure, they are dressed like cheerleaders". Also them having pompoms does not mean they are cheerleaders either. I've seen several band colorguards use pompoms too.

The Temple Owls play at the Philadelphia Linc, it's a NFL stadium that has two tiers. They don't sell the top tier. The bottom home side is sold out, the away side isn't sold out because the team they played that week was from Dallas.
