If you look back at Abbie's paper ripping video, her hair tie was in her hair and her finger was fine. The rubber band was only on there between that time and when you discovered it on her finger. We were told in first aid/tourniquet training that a tourniquet could be on for 2 hours before damage can start to occur.

Those little clear hair ties are scary for babies and toddlers too … because they’re often used in their hair and they’re so tiny that they can get looped on a finger or toe … I just had a friend whose baby got one of those on her toe during a nap and it looked just like that. Terrifying!!! So glad it’s OK!

You should ask a lamb farmer about the bands from my childhood memory in the UK that's how they used to dock lambs tails so they didn't get infected. I don't know how long it took but I just remember being told it was painless and the end eventually drops off!

I have had a smaller one for years and was great for medical needs. Checked out on line for a new one a few days ago. Read the fine print about how long it takes to solar charge!!! 😳 It should work great for your camper. Just don't plan on too long away from electricity.

2.5 hours to fully charge on 1000w of solar. Technically it could run for a VERY long time as long as the output wasn’t much more than the input.

You sure this 10:49 accidentally "got stuck" onto her finger just from pulling it out of her hair? Or could she have taken it out of her hair to stim with it "warping it around her fingers" then getting it too tight this time while doing so? If it is going to be a new stim for her it might happen again, in that case might as well get her more softer bands she can remove it more easily from her hand. Rubber bands are actually a common quiet stimming item for older teens and young adults with Autism or adhd.

No, absolutely an accident. It was perfectly wrapped around her finger with all strands in the same spot just like it was in her hair. I’ve seen her pull her hair tie out on many occasions but never seen her play or stim with one

Hey Asa we been trying to find something that can handle oxygen concentrator in case of emergency of no electricity. Do you think it would work.

So this unit is 2,048 watt hours and an oxygen concentrator is anywhere from 300-600 watts. Basically it could power the unit nonstop 3.5-7 hours depending on what the oxygen concentrator pulls for wattage. I think it would be an ok backup for those kinds of uses but ideally I’d rather have a propane generator ready to go for a main source of power. A small propane inverter generator would be ideal.

My grandma has a friend who had a dog that every time you use the broom it would chase it, but it would also bark at it and we have a dog that’s eight years old that will chase and bark at the vacuum and then it’ll do the same thing to a broom, so it has nothing to do with the noise. It’s the motiongoing forward and backwards that our dog like or likes or things it’s a game who knows
