If it was like this in the 90's then it was probably worse going back to the 60's. Still must be a lot of pressure and politics on a policeman if hes the only one of a group that isnt on the take and the others are. I remember roughly back to the 90's when they investigated Stock Newington cid , after they let about 150 go.

There was a bent pcso up here in south shields one of them voluntary ones, he was getting information from a user of where possible stashes were, he got the stash I think about 2 or 3 grand worth but kept it, anyhow about 3 weeks later somebody ran up behind sly punched him and gave him a few bangs, got a broken jaw, eye socket and lost a front tooth. The cop was never caught for corruption but they never got the lad who battered him

Corrupt police, will probably get away with many items from the criminals, but the violations to themselves, and Three corrupt personalities - will never leave them, if you start good then turn bad, or do bad to get good, in other words, criminals do bad to get in a more righteous position, once they have a house and a car and spending money, they tend to turn to good, to keep out of jail. But some policemen who once stood by the law, will feel damaging and guilty feelings which will plunge them into destruction.
