I agree 100%. I wasn't expecting him to sound this good with Pantera. You can't go by these crappy quality videos. I saw them live & Charlie sounded the best out of the group. It was even more impressive because it was unexpected. Everyone knows Zack is great & you always expect him to sound great. I was really surprised to see Charlie steal the show. He absolutely killed it. I would love to see them again. I hope they do another tour.

@@Esb906of course there are a lot of guitarists that can play these songs, they're all over KZbin. That's true of almost every band. So many players are more talented than the ones that are famous. The difference is none of those "millions " of guitar players are conditioned to play a long tour, is already a famous guitarist with their own fanbase, has the respect of their metal peers, who was good friends with Dime, and could capture the essence of his playing, even if it's not note for note. A person may have one or two of those things, but not the whole package, and not the backing of the Abbott estate. It's not always about the technical aspects of playing. This version of Pantera still has to gel. It still has to get fans excited, because they know the love these guys for each other. So, it's not just a gig, but a tribute from people that were friends. And it can't feel phoned in.

Ummm....they haven't always been good friends or professionals with eachother. (Pantera dominated them whilst on tour, every night) caused alot of problems through the 90s and into early 2000's. Alot of egos at play. Good to see they've not grinded that axe in a long time) 😂

There are so many leads he’d have to learn in a short amount of time. Even for someone like Zakk it would take a long time for him to be able to perform Dimes solos like him. The guys you see online that are fairly close to Dimes feel have been playing his leads for YEARS and still can’t get it exact. Give him a break.

This is a Pantera cover band with no energy. Doesnt do the orginal lineup any justice. They had a power and engery to them. They played ozzfest 25 years ago it was crazy. Phil had a mop hair cut.
