Man. This place is just too damn big. The last time I saw Pantera jam was at this little dive called Joes Garage in Fort Worth. It was a great place. The first time I met Dime (Diamond at the time) was in the green room after a show. He treated me like an old friend. Then he was like, "Hey. You wanna go to Whataburger?" I dont remember much after that.

This is the Metallica pop mainstream black album forward crowd. Metallica draws a radio friendly mainstream rock concert crowd, no pits just maybe a little fist pump from the wall street yuppies that make up most of the audience. Pantera headline shows are packing 20k a night, with insane mosh pits, not sure why they are doing this , maybe they didn't realize how big of a draw this reunion was gonna be! 30k in Hershey tonight for Pantera!

Yeah I'm not a Metallica fan. It's very one-dimensional compared to the vast influences Phil and Dimebag put toward Pantera. Combining Slayer, KISS, and The Smiths, I mean come on. Metallica even made an entire documentary pointing to the fact they were creatively bankrupt. They capitalize on their image. Pantera is very unique and I'm hoping there's a Detroit headline date ASAP

Love this band, but the 55 year old frontman with jiggly arm fat, who can't seem to get enough air......noooo thank you. It's saddening, watching band after band tarnish their legacies by putting out a product that they know is a hollow shell of the original. I heard they thought about Wayne Newton as an opener on their headlining tour, just so Phil would look younger by comparison.
