@Designated Shitposterperfect name... wtf are you talking about? Glamtera... They were 16 y/o kids, emulating their hero's. "Metal" looked different. Van Halen, Priest, Scorpions ect. Show me a pic of how cool you looked in 1984. I had a super mullet n tiiiight jeans.😂 Lets start when they're legal to drink and have an album with all contributing in the writing process, (the correct line up). C.F.H. They never choked and did a song with any rap crap, ever,.. they never pandered or went soft for the $. The anti metallica. They went harder. One of the MOST SOLID "keepers of the metal flame" ever. The 90s would have been a complete rap rock shit show without pantera. Metal was on life support. Limp bizcrap, etc. Pantera lead the way. I think they "saved metal" in "their time". They never put out a bad album. Dime was a living breathing guitar hero that I miss everyday. Their wigger phase is in your mind only. Don't get them confused with Rob Flynn. *I think your hating on ONE of the most important metal bands since Sabbath... just my opinion. R.i.p. brothers Abbott.
@jonsnow52305 жыл бұрын
@Designated Shitpostersigh,yawn, deep breath. i know you werent born by then, thats why i tried to explain the "metal climate" to you. When i was growing up metal ruled supreme. I miss that. None of these acts were world tour arena selling acts, not even close. Youve missed the point. Ilove black, and death, pantera were mainstream but not weak, most metal has always been underground, but pantera was this huge metal juggernaut. I loved it, loved them for it, that they were top of the heap and didn't go weak. Limp bizcuit was all I heard everywhere I went and it looked grim to me. I'm saying I think they carried the flag for metal without embarrassing the genre, faithfully.
