I unironically think this is their greatest record. More riffs per square inch than anything else they did, and I think Dime's best solos are on this album. Phil never sounded better. I live in Houston and one summer night in 1989 my friend and I walked into Backstage off I-59 not knowing what band was playing. We walked in right while Pantera was killing it and we had a brains melted. From that night to about 14 months later we saw them around 15 times between the two night stints they would play there every other month and going to Dallas a couple of times. This is all before Cowboys from Hell was released. What a great time this was. It shaped our lives. Live music and killer guitar playing is what I live for weather it’s metal, jazz, blues, classical whatever. Dime could have been at the top of music genre he had chosen. He went with badass metal and he ruled it. He difined music prodigy. What a senseless loss we all are stuck with. RIP my friend.

Does anyone know the name of the font used on the words "power metal"?

Did not Except you here just watched your GH cats video. look up "glass houses font" comes pretty close. also it looks like regular font they just stretched and enlarged to give it a distorted font look.

Yeah . Formed 1981 , Metal magic (1983) , Project in the jungle (1984) , I am the night (1985), Power metal (1988) People may being " wow " when CFH came out , but almost a decade of career , 4 albums and 5 nights a week . Well you understand why , its their background . That background that allowed to do the rest . Though technically CFH is a 80's album too as it was on demo and mostly played live in 1988 . Power metal was made in 1986 . Pantera was signed on a Atco sub distribution , Gold moutain records , Phil came in , recorded his vocals , ready to be nationally released in 1987 . But the label though the album was too heavy and then they finally waited for the end contract but benefitted of the distribution , and released Power metal again on their own metal magic records label in 1988

Ironically Rob Halford wanted to be Pantera with Fight. Where this is the best Judas Priest album, that Priest never made.

Dude, you did an excellent job with this as it completely slays the copy I've got. If you've still got it around and are willing to share, that would be awesome. Either way, cheers for sharing it here!
