What would you suggest for a vertical scratch on a black car door? My mailbox fell open with my car near it and made a scratch which I think is only in the clearcoat. They used to make a wax for black paint to help fill in.

What a Godsend these lists are for us all in the English Speaking world! Much appreciated Pan. I am in UK and it such a treasure trove of top information from Pan and dare I say extra detail. Cheered myself up today after death of HM the Queen with a full wash , decontamination, residue remover and polish and Turtlewax Graphene Wax spray on my BMW convertible .. and took off some old stickers with some glue remover and added a silhouette of HM the Queen on the back window 1926-2022. I feel better. And saw Pan's new garage ... How cool is that..... Today is a special day as I have every product for a full ceramic and full clean and prep and even Rags to Richs microfibre cloth........ I am eyeing up a huge plish Rag company drying cloth when used up my present ones...... Such a positive channel and so much information ...... Pan has kickstarted an entirely new hobby and form of life for me as he has answered every question .. I am excited about Gyeon Ceramic Detailer .. is my next big product try ........... Definitely finding car detailing therapeutic! Even from my favourite armchair!

Your collaboration a couple years back with Pan allowed me to try out the graphene coating and man was it amazing! It’s quite possibly the most durable coating out there for normal consumers. I coated a friends car and we didn’t wash or maintain the car for 16 months. After a thorough wash and decon, it was pretty much back to new! I was truly impressed :)

Ok; Interior- Turtlewax Hybrid Mist Detailer. Oh how I wish there was a scent that I could use for the day to day! It does every part of the car’s interior as well as and especially the info screen. Wheel cleaner- Mother’s Foaming Wheel and Tire cleaner. Strong, cleans all deposits easily and will dry w no streaks- clear and clean! Tire dressing- Larry takes the cake! Tire Mud Gel is outstanding. Pick your level of sheen by how many coats you use. No sling, no obnoxious glass shine. Outstanding. Incredible video Pan! I took many screen shots! I have and tried many of these on this video and my best ceramic coating spray is called TEC 582. It is by far the easiest and the best cost effective solution for ceramic coating that lasts 3-4 months. It performs better than Beadmaker with less dust attraction, and better longevity. Can be used as a drying aid or stand alone. I prefer it to so many other ceramic coating sprays. The tec 582 replaced my favorite Beadmaker that I used for so many years.

I just finished a complete detail and paint correction on my brothers 2012 black MKZ and it came out stunning, he was blown away. You can use Seal N Shine as a stand alone paint protection yes. And if you want more gloss or a warmer natural look, you can apply the ICE Spray Wax on top.

I applied carpro cquartz UK3.0 on my mustang last September and used reload once a month or every 4 washes. Unfortunately I got water spotting on it and the slickness was not the highest. I used Adams advanced graphene coating on my truck and although it's only been a few months, the hydrophobic qualities and slickness are just a few steps higher than cquartz. I also thought the application was easier. The one downside to Adams was it was easier to get high spots do you had to be careful.

For CQuartz UK 3.0 to have more slickness and resistance to water spotting, it needs a top coat, like most coatings. So I always apply CarPro Gliss 2.0 on top, a hyper slick top coat which helps reduce the chances of water spotting and is very slick to the touch. Just like Gyeon Mohs as its Skin topper, and Gtechniq CSL has its Exo v4 topper.

Hey Pan I wanted to drop a note that we bought the GYEON tar and rubber remover and it worked!! I had some PPF stuck to my hood after removing it and I tried everything under the sun to get it off and nothing worked. I sprayed a small amount on a MF towel applied and let sit for about a minute and boom it came right off! I spent hours with other products to no avail. So thanks for the review it was spot on! Recently found your channel as I got my first new car in 12 years, so thank you for all the info. I wanted to share my experience with a product called Plexus. I used to buy it at my local Yamaha dealership, they recommended it for cleaning the plastic and painted surfaces on my sport bike. FYI, it was apparently developed for cleaning airplane windows and cockpits. It really works for a lot of things, but I would say that it would fit nicely in your "Interior Detailer" category. It is a light spray, it leaves no residue, it cleans and leaves a dry but very slick surface and also has a nice scent. Works on the exterior too, painted or black plastic surfaces. When I found this product my Armour-All went straight into the trash can. I have no idea about it's compatibility with ceramic finishes. I never see this product in car detailing videos... it's also a little difficult to source and is a little bit expensive but it's worth it to me. Check it out. Edit - FYI, they classify the product as a "Plastic Polish" AND it also has anti-static properties, so it actually repels dust!

1. CarPro Eraser is my favorite. The label looks great, the scent is amazing. The anti static is amazing for all the screens in my life, I even tried it on my eyeglasses to clean the water spots after washing the car. Oh...and it cuts that polishing oil so well before the CQuartz application. 2. Adam's Interior Detailor is great too, smells great! (I got the Eucalyptus Mint) 3. P&S Brake Buster w/ Marolex Axel Foamer is amazing for those high performance brake pad dusting that accumulates on my gloss black painted sections of the wheels

Why not use dawn or other dish detergents to strip off old wax if you plan on replacing it with a new paint protection?

Stripping shampoos alone aren't enough to ensure 100% removal of previous protections. They can only help to start the breaking down process. Mechanical abrasion with machine polishing is needed if you need to ensure 100% removal of previous protections. This is CRUCIAL before you apply ceramic or graphene coatings from glass bottles, as those need to bond directly to virgin clear coat.

I can't believe it's already that time of year! My top three products this year are Aero Cosmetics Rubber Care for tire dressing, way ahead of anything else I've used for appearance and longevity. Soft99 Glaco Ultra for a glass coating. Applied this stuff about a month ago. Got caught in the heaviest of Florida downpours last week, water up to my axles, but almost perfect vision through my windscreen, I was very impressed. And P&S Dream Maker, I could not believe the gloss it put on a white car. Like all their products super easy to apply, and the perfect product to finish your detail. Great video as always Pan!

As a DIY'er, I definitely consider price as a huge factor. For snow foams, I like Chemical Guys Sticky Snowball. For APC, chemical guys invisible clean. Would like to try out Carpro products, but don't really care for that premium price. Great video
