That was the mother in law doing a mission impossible style hanging of the window to spy on you in case you were up to no good with her daughter or talking bad about her lol yeah always drink the yeast its full of nutrients B vitamins chromium etc and I agree it adds flavour to the beer,cheers🍻

Maybe next time you have a bottled conditioned beer you should try it both with and without the yeast added and see which one you prefer.
