I am a tankman myself, a gunner. So... use the firepower, and movebility. Change position after two shots. Always stay on the move! Use trees, high grass and low parts of the terrain, to take cover. Expose yourself as less as possible. And always have a way to escape. That means, NO trees behind your tank!

Yawn. Hit probability at 2400m is almost a minus number. If you were lucky enough to get a hit, nothing would happen. so why bother wasting ammo.
