I'll get hate for this likely but I think it was the right call as that was more of a shove than a crosscheck and it wasn't the shove that caused Coyle to fall on Swayman as he actually stopped himself but then Swayman's stick took Coyle's leg out as he reached around making him fall on him, plus the puck was already in the net by the time Coyle fell and there was no real chance the save would have been made anyways.

Rule 69.1 in the NHL rule book. a defending player has been pushed, shoved, or fouled by an attacking player so as to cause the defending player to come into contact with his own goalkeeper, such contact shall be deemed contact initiated by the attacking player for purposes of this rule, and if necessary a penalty assessed to the attacking player and if a goal is scored it would be disallowed.

The previous penalties by Boston has NOTHING to do with the fact that according to the NHL rulebook, that was goaltender interference. That is what fans are pissed about. Maybe Florida should play better and not get cheap goals because of the horrible officiating

@@rolandlavigne9798 actually if you watched live they read the rulebook, if there was no penalty called on the ice they couldnt take that goal back. the refs felt there wasnt enough contact to cause the defenseman to move the goalies direction and the defenseman was in the blue paint before the "shove".
