That was a really fun way to build Pantlaza. Never considered it for etb effects. That multi gain/burn of the whole table each turn was rough!

Each triggers only once due to Pantlazas once a turn restriction.

Always enjoy your video's. Wasn't too keen on the Pantlaza though, seemed like it was a bit of an unstoppable force when the commander was played. Also barely got to see the other decks do anything, due to the Pantlaza just going off. Would have liked to see more of the Pirate deck, cause it's the one I bought. Hoping to see more of the decks from this set though, to maybe see the other decks perform a bit better. ;)

Pantlaza kind of had a lucky game since it found all 3 of the permanents that deal damage, normally you would just get a creature to add to your board every turn.

finally, some clav gameplay! for future watchers, let me know how you build him, spread some ideas pls! i started off by building him with tons of 1-2 drops but would quickly run out of gas and have 2 cards in hand, and then his attack trigger is only once per turn, so it's not too fast. my current build of him focuses on the stronger 3-4 drop vampires which are actually threatening, and feel much better to reanimate. p.s., check out charismatic conqueror, this thing is an ENGINE with good stats all for 2 mana - crazy value

For me the I'm building the deck is that clav is more of pseudo draw engine in my command zone while leaning more into vampire token production and counters while still play aristocrats. A card like roaming throne double all vamps triggers. Drana, invasion of new capenna, feast of victorious dead, cathar crusade ect. Allow for a threating board state and takes advantage of going wide. Malakir bloodwitch is vamp Gary and can close out game if board is to clogged to fight through and classic aristocrat drains can also do the trick.

Pantlaza says do this only once each turn....10.11.2023 Once you decide to discover using Pantlaza's ability, that ability will stop triggering for the duration of that turn.

If you exile Pantlaza with a blink effect it is counted as a "new" Pantlaza that has yet to trigger this turn.

Correct phase in/out doesn't trigger etb.

how does scroll shift win him the game? you guys never explained it

First of all, I just noticed that the x for each player appeared too soon, I might have missclicked while editing, but was sure I looked through the ending. Secondly, scrollshift would do the same thing as before, aka make thopter, trigger archeologist, and trigger roast and tremors 2 times each, not counting the discover after the blink.
