The amazing details continue! And I can relate to your frustrations and letting some minor issues go. I have to stop myself sometimes too knowing that only I will notice an "imperfection" because I know it is there or am looking for it. Very few others wouldn't notice unless it's pointed out and even then they're like "Really?!?!".

That is going to be the most beautiful and perfect kitchen on earth. Very unusual trim work. Never have I seen such complicated trim work. Normally, the door and windows casings would go in first, the. The trim would be cut to fit the casings. Matt is fitting the first parts to the last parts rather than the last parts to the first. And never have I seen dominoes used on trim work. It's going to look like furniture when he is done.

AWESOME job you and Donovan and others have done on your home and with yours and your wifes videos you allow everyone to see your expertise and your mistakes. Thank you all for one awesome job after the other. Can't wait to see the final completion of this area of your home and I'd be willing to bet there will be lots more to come. Again thank you all!

I'm sure someone has already mentioned it but. If you trim a bit of the corner off of the bottom rear corner of the paneling at a 45, it will slide in over the backsplash alot easier and not be visible. Oh and by the way, I'm stealing the domino at the top of the paneling trick!

Wow Matt, what a huge difference the pantry makes in addition to the whole kitchen. The amount of detail for that room is staggering, but as usual, you make it look easy. The flow in materials and being able to remedy a fitment issue was a nice remedy. So in closing, I have a question, Do you have any Sasquatch or Wookie relatives in your family tree ? Regardless, I noticed the haircut early in the video, and I could swear that you were ready for another one by the end of this video. Regardless, your a talented wood worker.

Looks Great Matt. I have one comment or question for you. When you scribed the top cap and cove moulding to the window casings would it be easier to make it up like you did and just remove the thickness of the casing from the backside of the cap and cove moulding? Wouldn't need to do all that extra scribing.

Would another option on the off center window to have been to remake the beadboard pieces say 1/8” wider each? That would make up 1” across the width of the window and no one would see they were slightly wider than the pieces on the adjacent walls. Your attention to detail is commendable but in the pursuit of minutiae, some details can be pushed to the waysides without compromising the end result. I have question related to the quality of craftsmanship and level to detailed. How do you talk to your insurance company so that you are insured for this level of quality. I recently had a claim in which the insurance company failed to respond to my demand, that the quality of work had alot to do with the cost of repair. how are you approaching proper coverage?
