I found that in addition to your bullion tip, mixing white and brown rice at first and increasing the ratio bit by bit seems to be helping with the transition. I am starting with as little as 5% brown and planning to increase once my taste buds adjust.

I've been following your channel for almost a week now, and I love it! Thank you so much for all of what you've done :) Money saving tip: Make your own peanut butter ;) in my country, peanut butter is quite expensive in terms of price-quantity (a jar of 250 to 300 grams costs around 5 USD). Half a kilo of peanuts costs around 2 USD, and it's just taking the peanuts in a food processor and blending until the butter forms

@Chiungalla797 жыл бұрын
+April This can be a positive side effect from becoming a whole food vegan. Don't know where you are right now, but maybe it helps to think about it this way: In the last couple of decades many people worked extra hard to create processed foods which so outperform natural foods in pushing our buttons that the majority of the world got addicted. Those are probably your reference line right now. But once you kick all those processed foods out of your life, your reference line changes back to a normal level, where fruits, vegetables and nuts again taste like heaven. A couple of years ago I would never have guessed how amazing a banana or berries can actually taste and I was completely not interested in nuts. After some years as a junk food vegan I made the transition to a whole food vegan lifestyle a couple of weaks ago. And it is amazing how I enjoy my regular raw periods with vegtables, fruits and nuts.
