Yes, all great uses of their products!! Their thicker place mats work AMAZINGLY well on wire shelves in pantries and fridge, too! (Sometimes the foam board can "pop" holes in it or bend with concentrated pressure points). Your lazy susan is so, so ingenious! :)

Thank you Alejandra for sharing. Really love the lazy Susan idea. Love that you show us how to organize on a budget. Allows us to save money thus allowing us to have more money to spend on other upgrades. Many don't like to spend a lot of money for organization because its likely in 3 yrs one will probably want a new change/look/color. Many of us love the Dollar Tree items and one can most likely find several within a short drive. Keep the videos coming can't wait to see the next 3 parts in this series.

I like the fact that you mix it up and I don't live in America but where I'm from our go to dollar store is dollarama and I find that every dollarama that I've been too has basically the same thing depending on the size of the store so seeing how you organize using dollar store items gives me a lot of inspiration so thank you

After watching this video, I created the Lazy Susan with larger plastic bins from the dollar tree . I use it as storage for awkwardly tall bottles of oils and vinegars in the kitchen. Due to the tall edge, I don't have to worry about them falling over if I ever spin the Lazy Susan roughly. It doesn't look as sleek as the tin ones you showed, but it revolves smoothly and gets the job done 😊. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas.

While not all of us can find all items at all Dollar Tree locations, don't forget you can order MANY items from their website! You do usually have to buy a dozen or so, but if you can't use them all you could always split with a friend. Last time I bought Lazy Susans, they were very expensive and the edge was so wide that it takes up extra space on the shelf. I wish I had thought of your idea - brilliant! I will definitely do that going forward. Thanks!

Great set-up! Those dish pans are great and store more than round containers do I find. Love those double shelves I use them everywhere. You can also turn shelves into drawers that way, just find a container that fits close to the clearance of the shelf then it pulls out and stays in place like a drawer. The lazy Susan idea is genius!!! Thanks for sharing.

Love the video and tried the dishpan idea. I already had some of the shelf dividers, but as with your your grandmother's, my shelf dividers were slightly too short and the dishpans wouldn't slide out. I used some of the tiny felt type pieces you can put on the bottoms of chairs, etc., to prevent marring the floor. I used two on each leg - they stick together and also stick on the shelf - so they don't move and now my dishpans slide out beautifully. This was a really cheap way to use the shelves I already had!

Lots of dollar store products work great and last for years! I do check the food containers, tho, to see if they are BPA free. Mason jars are pretty cheap, too, and are great for storing food, as long as you don't drop them! LOL Alejandra, your ideas are alway great, and they inspire me.

I love this! I seem to organize my pantry each week based on the grocery items I buy. I try a lot of new recipes all the time, so I never have the same size items each week & have yet to figure out a 'system'. Currently we don't end up putting items back in the 'right place' but the bin idea may have solved it for me!!

Dollar Tree sells clear plastic cutting mats- I think they're roughly 12 by 8 in (give or take), to use as a shelf liner instead of the poster board. You can easily cut them to size, and because they're plastic, you can wipe them clean. I've been doing the marble lazy Susans for years... But I use two plates that have just a tiny lip on them. Enough of a lip to hold the marbles in, but not so high that it's hard to get the items out of a tight shelf space. I like to use every available inch of storage and I was finding that I had to "stack" my shelves too far apart in order to be able to lift the items up and out of the cake pans. By using plates or even a low edged pie pan instead of a cake pan, I can drop the shelf above the lazy Susans at least 3"- Multiply that by four shelves and you've gained an extra vertical foot storage space!

I have pretty limited storage space so I started making my bake ware do double duty as storage. For example, I don't use my bread pans frequently but I do use them on occasion so I store my snacks in them. When I need the pan I just take the snacks out and bake! It probably won't be very convenient if you use the item a lot but it saves me space for items I love to have but don't use all the time.

I found the flip top storage containers! Yay! I went to one Dollar Tree and they only had the small size and then went to a second one and they had both sizes. I'm going to use them for my cereals. I have been looking for something like this but didn't want to pay a high price. I have one from Tupperware which is nice but I didn't want to pay that price for several more. Also, I have the same hanger on my door and use it to hold my gift bag storage. It has worked great. Thanks Alejandra for sharing!

Great video! You know the little containers you have your salt in...I have some also and I put my dry salad toppings them. I have 1 with those tiny salad tortilla strips in one, 1 has croutons in them, 1 has bacon bits and so on etc. When it's salad bar night there so easy to pull out and so easy to put back and everyone can see what's in them=)

You can also decorate your labels by putting scrapbook paper cut to size behind them. It's a cheap way to make any dollar tree item look expensive. If you laminate the paper it makes it look more professional

I like the 3 dollar bins from the target dollar spot. I have found that the dollar tree bins are flimsy and break very easily costing more money in the long run. I have had the three dollar bins from target for over a year and a half. I use them to store toys for my twin toddlers who haven't used them gently. None of them have broken.

Dollar Tree does have a website where you can get stuff when the stores are out of it, BUT some of the items require GIANT item amounts, bulk buying. For some stuff it's not a big deal, but for those stack-able brightly colored bins you used under a bathroom sink (did that too, LOVED IT) they required 48 to be purchased. Seriously.
