I love how you emphasized making things "good enough" as opposed to "perfect". Its a much more attainable goal. I struggle with trying to keep everything perfect all the time and I just can't manage that standard. I love your functional approach. It looks like people actually use your closet! I just declutter my linen closet and I thought it was going to take 15 mins. It took almost two hours! I should have watched this video first because then I would have known not to take everything out if I only wanted to spend 15 minutes. I'm still glad I did it because now it looks amazing.--Tasha

I have my mother and my step father coming up to visit on Friday for 2 and a half days - so I’m doing my organising / chores and decluttering - all while I am cooking , and playing my Alejandra playlist on a loop . :-) I’m so proud of the hard work so far ..... thankfully my new pain medications work really well, so my arthritis in my spine isn’t too bad today :-) have a great week Alejandra and best wishes to Ed :-)

*💗 These 🕒15 min quick organizing videos are fantastic...Thank you Alejandra !!* 💗😍 👍 *Tips* 2:14 *Tackle hanging cloths first* 2:46 *Tackle the Shelf that you use the most* 3:34 you can spent a few minutes or the whole 15 min on one section..its your choice. 4:27 *Pull out items from shelf* & *sort it in piles* *Fold items* , Make it functional first. pile like items with like items and put them back on shelf... eg: pants , tops, workout , tank tops, t shirts etc. 6:40 Move to next section of space...*Repeat as before*....sort in piles, fold items , and put back in shelf.. 7:42 Use *Background Music* to make time pass by faster, and make more enjoyable. 9:51 Put *non seasonal clothing* that is not being used..in the back of the shelf. 10:51 If you run out of time...leave a note , where you left off , to continue your organizing work. 12:20 just keep going and aim for function first and later focus on the bells whistles after.

This video and your pantry video has inspired me more than any others, and I watch a lot. Came here from Clutter bug's channel after realizing I'm a butterfly person. so thanks to her. I have since done my closet and my pantry that had groceries still in the bags just waiting for more room, which I realized I already had and just started with one shelf. Thanks for helping a 72 yr. old lady to get thing much better than they were...on to other locations, with victory after putting things off since retiring. You're amazing!

They are great for wooden shelves and I can see storing socks, underwear, tights, bras, sports bras, bathing suits, etc. Basically anything small! It's made for the kitchen but can be used in the closet as well. The part that slides on the shelf is adjustable if your shelves after slightly thicker/thinner. I hope that helps! I was inspired by your last video to clean our pantries. I told my kids {16 & 17} that whoever could clean/organize their shelves in the least amount of time would get a "prize." We ended up having so much fun, neither cared about winning! Thanks for the tips! 😊

I too like many others have said here have missed Alejandra's videos, but somehow these new videos seem different. I often watch some of her older videos to reinforce some of the great ideas I already learned from her. Those videos seemed to be more structured organization, with containers and labels (in closets, cabinets and drawers). I guess Alejandra is down sizing. She mentioned something to that effect in a previous video when mentioning the move to their new farm house. I still am glad she has returned with weekly videos. I have previously learned how to organize my bathroom cabinet (below sink), coat closet (and other closets with non -plastic, matching hangers) and just other areas of my home on a budget (Alejandra gave dollar store ideas). All her older videos seemed a little OCD to perfection which I loved. So many areas of my home ( I live in a 1 bedroom apt) are so well organized due to her numerous ideas. Thank you for that Alejandra. Maybe I now need to take a hint from Alejandra on down sizing.

I do the same - tanks, short sleeve, long sleeve. I do colors white/cream, black/grey, brown, then colors of the rainbow red orange yellow green blue and purple. Makes everything so easy to find and put away, too.
