I love that it’s focused on function and not overstuffed with storage. It’s more a tool with function than a container. Impressed with how perfect your plywood looks; Sharp blades I guess. The folding arm is basically what I used for a dog ramp I move around for my puppy. Learned a lot with the steel spacer taking the wiggle out and bolting tight. Perfect amount of spacing.

7:37 could you please tell me what drill bit this is? The bigger, black one. It seams to have a very acute tip. Thank you. And as always your work is remarkable and this looks like something to start a business with. Although one does need some precise tools to begin with in order to achieve desired precision. In other words. You have to be at least an average woodworker to make this in my opinion. And equipped accordingly.

I quite like this workbench. I would suggest one very small change - on the support for the folding side table, instead of square 90deg cuts, if you put them at more like a 20deg, cut it'll be a little more secure and hold fast like a french cleat.

I still think that this workbench build is great and that it can only be improved by using a couple of earth magnets that are set into the pull up draw extension that is under the sliding tabletop. By installing the magnets on your draw pull up it will help you when using your sliding table aswell as the metal clip that is used to catch the sliding table and stop it from tipping the magnets will help do this too but it will mean you nolonger need to use your hip's against the draw.!!! As always buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.

Such a great job. The thought of all of the hours making it makes me want to cry as I just want to use it! How much did all the materials come to to make it and how many days did it take you in total? (not including the time it took to work out the design) Look forward to hearing back from you 😀

Thanks Poason. This design is amazing. I have bought the plans and will try to make it myself (although doubt it will look half as neat!). Two questions. In the cutting diagram there is only one board making up the top of the folding side table - piece 16 in the parts list. On the KZbin instructions of this video, EP5, shown at 15mins, there are two - a plywood base and a melamine top. Which is right if following the purchased instructions? Also, if I want to have a melamine top as in the videos, which pieces in the parts list should be cut from this board? Thanks. Dan
@Paoson_Woodworking3 жыл бұрын
hi Dan! t his is what you can read in the instructions: ""Here in the 3D model you can see I used only one hard plywood board to make the benchtops of the original design. In my case, I’ve altered the design a little, so I got hold of a board that’s similar to MDF, but a little harder and with melamine on both sides, which I thought was perfect for this workbench. Both methods and materials are perfectly valid"" If you have more questions write me by email please, I can help you better

Amazing! I have watched all 5 episodes and anxiously await the next one. I have also purchased your plans for this project. Your precision and ability to design projects like this and the other mobile workbenches is truly amazing. Can you please clarify for me the name of the material you are using as the top layers in which the T-tracks are embedded. Is it an HPL product and do you know of any company that might sell it in Canada, where I live?
