Thank you so much for these games. I came upon these early Carr games in KZbin the other night. By luck, I guess. I live in the Pacific NW and have missed more games that Derek Carr has played than I have ever seen because of the Seahawks. These have been pure joy for me to see!

I have listened to every 49er game on KNBR for the last two and 3/4s seasons for the very reason that Greg Papa is our guy now. He's among the greats.

I agree. I miss Papa.

I really miss Greg Papa, Tom Flores, and Lincoln Kennedy as game announcers for the Raiders Nation. They brought excitement to the game.

THIS is the kind of player Derek Carr needs to get back to. Give your playmakers a real chance. A lot of that is on Gruden as well...unleash this offense.

Hopefully we'll get it done tomorrow.

Can you imagine that was only 8 years ago crazy. Boy how this team has changed, then again every two years there's a new team but bad results. We'll see this year. Why do I miss Del Dio? He was intersting.

Nostalgia man and it's only 6 years old and look the trajectory of both teams, not to mention the lack of total respect towards the amazing fans of both teams and the rivalry of the state of California, North vs South California, very sad and I admit naif on my part to witness the only thing what MATTERS is DOLLAR DOLLAR BILL YA(CATCHING TUNE 🔥, NOT SURPRISED RIGHT?!),I REALLY CARE AND FROM A VERY BIG SEAHAWKS FAN, I AM 100% BEHIND BOTH TRUE FAN BASE,FOR REAL ✌️🤬🏈✅🔥🔥🔥, GREETINGS FROM A TRULY BELGIAN FAN,KUDOS TO THE FANS, YOU ARE THE TRUE 🐐(GOATS!!!!!)!!!!!

Watching this game & it still kills me how the Raiders, no matter the coach or players, take the foot off the pedal when leading & play soft defense (rush 3) & instead of a blow out, it’s way closer

I've always known about the refs bias against the Raiders but damn, sometimes it still stuns me. The "push off" call and the "holding" call - both against Seth Roberts were EGREGIOUS. So bad. Both negated 1st downs. I didn't see a single questionable call that went against the Chargers though. So was the personal foul on Donald Penn, the pass interference on Amerson and the unbelievable no-call on Rivers intentional grounding to the corner of the end zone (because apparently the tackle box is 6 inches wide.)

I did not know Jason Verrett was a Charger before he was a 49er.

Typical stupid Raiders philosophy, get a good size lead, then play too conservative and run till you're desperate on 3rd down and have to force a throw, which you never get and allow the other team to get back into the game.
