This song has this nostalgic tone.. especially in the verses.. it's as if we're back to early 2000's and Papa Roach is on MTV delivering the vibes once again.. ^^

Get down Get down Time's catching up, breathing down my neck Now I'm reminded of the things I did The things I did Had a revelation, a change of view We all get stuck but we don't all get through We don't all get through And I can't just let the broken record spin On, and on, and on, and on again I can't run from who I've been But I'll try to find a way to make amends I'm not the same person I was back then Now I can't run from who I've been I surrender These broken wings have traveled far Can't get away from this bleeding heart This bleeding heart I'll facе the mirror, I'll take the blamе For every time that I've caused you pain I've caused you pain And I can't just let the broken record spin On, and on, and on, and on again I can't run from who I've been But I'll try to find a way to make amends I'm not the same person I was back then Now I can't run from who I've been I surrender I can't just let the broken record spin On, and on, and on, and on again I can't run from who I've been I surrender

This sounds nothing like the old papa roach! Have u ever heard infest?!
@jayroxx25802 жыл бұрын
@@Jose89277 I’ve heard the old papa roach, and infest, of course. I’ve heard all of the albums and listened to them growing up. It doesn’t sound like “Last Resort” on infest, but they had albums like “getting away with murder”, and “paramour sessions”, that it does sound similar to, and that are also older. Maybe you haven’t listened to enough of their catalog.

The end floaty part definitely reminds me of sitting in that alien crater bowl away from everybody in the badlands, looking at the stars, thinking of those who passed who were most certainly guiding me and were like, “We’ll get you through this, don’t worry. Just believe.” And just feeling super serene peace in knowing and feeling that.

And btw thank you for saying very clearly and bravely in that interview with Nik (I forgot his last name) that one of the healthiest healing things a person can do is pull out their demons and stomp on them. Say hello to Jagger for me. You did 100% teach me that early on, and it most CERTAINLY saved my soul time and time again ;) xoxoxo it’s true. Lots of people agree too. Healthy outlets, healthy metaphoric killing and stomping and pounding into hell (and letting the Devil happily do it too), and then moving on into the light xoxoxo

PS I made a little poster/travel plot thing when I first got to Brattleboro, and it’s 100% still the plot line I’m gonna use. The three trips out west: 1) In the Ford Ranger, theme “Escape” 2) In the Ford Transit Van, theme “Survive/Gather up gems and spiritual wealth from Wallace, Idaho” haha I think I called it renewal or recharge 3) And then of course, the return home, in so many words in mostly the Ford or a Ford Ecosport (with a couple metaphoric, very necessary murders in between lol which will EVENTUALLY be true deaths in good time which is nice to know :)) This book turned film will be sponsored by Ford 100% lol
