Wow. When I first heard this song back when it came out. I automatically thought of my best friend. There is nothing I wouldn't do for her. She pulled me out of the darkest time in my life. I was on the verge of committing suicide and she forced me away from that ledge when we first started hanging out. I still don't think she knows just how greatfull I am for her friendship. She was the first person that ever really saw me and saw how I struggled everyday. This song just makes me think of her. And like the lyrics no matter what I will always have her back.

I just wanted to tell a little story. When I was about 6 my mom met this guy. They started dating and got married about a year later. This was their song. For years she stayed with him. He was on drugs really bad. About 3 years ago she left him. A year later she gave him another chance. When he got really bad on drugs he was abusive. Less than a year later she left him again. We moved into another house and he still came around for a little while. Then eventually my mom cut him out of our lives. A few months after that on January 15th 2019 he killed himself. I think about how I could have changed things everyday if I just begged my mom to stay with him. It’s 2020 now so I’ve decided to let the thought of his death being my fault go.
