I have probably the opposite politics that anyone would go on Michael Knowles's show. And I work in Cybersecurity so I know how much predator hunters have ruined cases. However, I can't help but commend Alex for catching people. Any pedo in prison is better off there. And I hope they can get some kind of rehabilitory therapy. Michael Knowles is horrible person lol and he wanted to use Alex to say "gay democrats are more likely to be pedos."

Exactly, 17 and 20 is not a crazy age difference. With those ages they probably went to school together. when my sister was like 16 and her boyfriend turned 18 cops almost had him arrested because they claimed their relationship was illegal, despite them being together for 3 years and going to school together for years. But because a guy SA'd my sister and then when she told the cops he told them it was a lie and that her boyfriend was the real criminal and they almost arrested him instead. Luckily the guy that SA'd her and almost got her boyfriend arrested did 4 years in prison after

the whole "some 17 year olds are hot" comment. (especially coming from a young adult). i tend to agree it's not weird and not a big deal. cause I think acknowledging simple ATTRACTION vs healthy boundaries with underage teens actually goes a long way in protecting them. an adult having baseline attraction to post-pubescent teenage people is not wrong. it's normal. they look like an adult, your brainstem may find them attractive. thats no big deal. and not even something you can control. BUT we know it IS wrong to pursue a romantic or sexual relationship with a teen (or knowingly viewing explicit material of them) and this IS something you can control. as a society we realized how detrimental it is and how they are too young to consent to all that, including participation in any kind of explicit material!. as an entire society we have put up that boundary and it has worked wonders for literally everyone's well being lol. (and i find that standard also kind of diminishes the inner experience of attraction to anyone who looks potentially like a teen, but some teens won't look obvious. so either way the important part is separating your brain reflexes from appropriate, compassionate behavior!! I looked like a VERY grown woman when i was 17. and I don't mean a small baby faced girl with big boobies. i mean it was common to mistake me for a 20+ year old woman. that's fine. i still was not ready for adult relations. that's the part that matters. if you wholeheartedly respect the fact that even a teen person who LOOKS like a full blown adult is not an adult inside THAT is the entire goal. I think that's what Alex Rosen was trying to state and it shows he is engaging with this in a grounded, thoughtful nuanced and ethical way. where he acknowledges that his morality is not dictated by his dick lol. a person can be hot and still be wildly inappropriate and cruel to pursue or exploit. period!
