Yeah a lot of people miss the whole build-up to the Frank Hassle encounter, and they thinkj he just called Boogie a "fat pussy" or whatever and then showed up at his house, but there were multiple weeks of Boogie alternatingly threatening to murder or beat up Frank and daring him to show up. You shouldn't show up at people's houses, but it's not as one-sided as many seem to think.

This 100%. Boogie is not a victim.

Boogie..is a...im just gonna keep my mouth shut. You guys all laid it in a Rated G version, on the dot. Boogie is absolutely a narcissistic psychopath and someone that I would keep my distance from. As disappointing and disgusting Boogie's behavior is im glad he exposed himself to the whole world. I now know how to look out for people like boogie and avoid them at all costs because they will get you killed and are a complete danger to society, ESPECIALLY if they are given money and/or fame. How this world can defend and be sympathetic to people like boogie is absolutely astounding and terrifying to say the least and really portrays where we're at in society.

@@TheMaestroProdigy You mean like Frank was and Boogie wasn't? If he'd actually shot Frank, Boogie would've probably would've gone to jail for like 10 years and Frank might not have even died.

Boogie invited Frank to his house...And when he showed up looking like a goof with GoPro strapped to head Boogie escalated. He wasn't armed, he didn't look armed, they had a security camera they could see him through. He was knocking on the door calling him names. Not trying to break in, not threatening violence. They could have stayed inside and called the cops or just ignored him. But Boogie chose to be unhinged and shoot a gun. Had he shot Frank, Boogie would be in jail castle laws are for if your life's in danger. You can't unload on people who are on your yard saying mean words. And again, he told Frank to come over. The disturbing thing is Boogies desperate need to be a victim have now grown to homicidal levels. He was desperate for Frank to give him any excuse to shoot him so he could have all the attention and cry victim. Franks a moron who could have so easily got killed messing with unhinged individuals. But Boogies the one in the wrong. It's like Idubbbz said with the whole Tana thing. If she had just said wow you're really pathetic Ian for saying a racial slur at my event in front of children, she'd have looked great. But she had to lie and say he tried to fight people and put her in a choke hold. Boogie could of ignored Frank and actually been a victim of a weirdo troll. But he couldn't help himself.

thank you for saying what you said about children and behavioral issues. it's something very often ignored and not spoken about. the internet wants things to be black and white, but sometimes situations simply aren't that way

Yep I just dealt with emotional trauma from my teenage years. Took me 17 years before I faced it. It was very painful. I agree about the difficulties. It starts off as intense emotions before it settles into something manageable. It's understandable why ppl try to ignore it or repress it.

Is it? Stay away from people's houses and there's nothing to worry about. It's not trolling if what you're doing makes people feel deeply unsafe. I don't feel bad for people who learn about boundaries the hard way

@@YS420X I do not care for Frank, nor do I think he was morally in the right at all. You should never ever point a gun at someone unless you are fully willing to shoot them, and feel as if you have no choice. Boogie smugly said he was going to kill frank, did not call the police or leave his house, or attempt in any way to remove himself from the situation.

I was starting out as a freelancer in 2000. While it didn't totally dry up things did get much more competitive. The main reason in my opinion is that websites like getafreelancer (now freelancer) and guru started popping up around 2004-5ish and started getting popular which opened up the market to developers in India, Nepal, Pakistan, etc. willing to do thousands of dollars worth of work for hundreds. Unless you had a way to compete with that it killed your ability to earn a living because someone in the US can't spend 100 hours building a web app for 500 dollars and still pay their bills. The other thing that happened is companies like myspace and facebook started becoming mainstream and making their founders overnight millionaires. Suddenly everyone and their mother wanted to learn how to be a programmer. These two things made it go from being pretty easy to find a business needing a freelancer to most of your time will be spent trying to drum up business. He had options to keep doing it either change his business model, go to work full time for a company, or get lucky and make a popular new app. Obviously he chose none of those options, it is a tough business to be in and he probably just didn't want to do it anymore.
