I also want to say thank you for making this very helpful and instructional Video. It helped me to repair my HP Laserjet 3055 printer also at no cost, with only about 15 minutes of my time, a little piece of adhesive tape and a little patience and fiddling. The hardest part was getting the screw that's holding the solenoid back in. Had to magnetize a screw driver with a magnet i had laying around to get to it. Again, many thanks and greetings from germany.

Thank you so much for this video. You saved my printer laser jet 3050. I have 5 catridges and I was hesitant to junk it with multiple page feed issue for the last 6 months. Please note that you need to use paper thick sticking for plate to touch solenoid. I tried with velcro and was not touching the solenoid. I used electrical tape and solved the problem.
