Paper Mache Drogon from Game of Thrones

This is my take on Drogon from Game of Thrones ad a trophy. If you have any questions about the making of this please comment and I will answer them.

¿Que papel en especial usas para realizar las alas y los detalles de la piel?

Uso un corte encima de la sábana para las alas. Las áreas verdes es una rasgada para arriba de la toalla. Y las escalas son arcilla de papel maché. Espero que esto se traduce correctamente. I use a cut up bed sheet for the wings. The green areas is a torn up shop towel. And the scales are paper mache clay. I hope this translates correctly.

Hi Raymond! Do you use acrylic paint? Is the first coat of black a wash or solid painting? If it’s a wash, do you use about 50/50 paint and water?

Karaboo162 that first coat of black is actually a black primer. Just krylon black spray primer. And yes I use acrylic paimts.

Raymond Bennett also im using the same brand of clay for teeth so at what temp. does the oven have to be? And how long do you reccomend having it there

Greece Pill I believe it is 250 for 15 min or so. Check the package directions are on it.

It is an old bed sheet. I use cloth dipped in glue to cover some parts, it makes it a lot tougher. I still have some SpongeBob sheet, every one of my dragons has SpongeBob in them somewhere. 😆
