Fantastic project, I did send you a message on your blog but the message has disappeared. I wrote to you yesterday. Would love to know what you used to make the 'bulk' of the mask in the opening images we see on this video.. what is the head made with and the part surrounding it? thanks

I used balloons and plastic bags to form the bulk of the mask. I used masking tape to form the face. I used tubes of paper to make the headdress. Thank you so much for commenting. I am sorry about the message disappearing. It was a fun project to make. I am glad you got something out of it. :)

Thanks. The next time I paper mache I am going to video the whole process and make it high speed. I hadn't purchased my video camera until the middle of summer so I didn't get the paper mache part on video, just Iphone.

TheWillvis Brewer it’s a snake and a bird. As far as I can see, that’s what his headdress looked like. I was using an actual picture of his headdress as a reference on my laptop. Thanks for commenting.
