Paper Marbling for Watercolor Painting - in depth video sharing the method I use to prep watercolor paper for watercolor painting. There are many helpful and detailed videos across KZbin on this subject, with this video you will learn how to achieve a good result with ink and water only. I hope this video compliments the incredible resources already available. Watch as I dip the very tip of a brush soaked in ink to the surface of the water, the ink floats and begins to create rings. By alternating how long each brush dips you can create larger and smaller bands much like the rings of a tree. Once the paper is gently laid onto the water, allowed to sit a minute, and lifted you will see the gorgeous surface design. This video shares what I've learned so far about this ancient art form, and how I've adapted it to be used as a paper prep for painting.
