Something I despise about the beginning of the game is when you’re saving all the toads in the town and Kersti tells you to not bother saving the rest, and if you take her “advice” and try to move on, you’ll be stopped from doing so and the game will tell you to go back and save the rest of the toads. You know, the thing Kersti said to not bother with? Just… why say to not do something you have to do that only serves to waste your time?

2:36:35 Okay, so I'm trying to figure out what just happened here. Petey Pirahna has 300 HP and the combined total is 313 HP meaning the Dry Bones has 13 HP. In this turn the Dry Bones would have full 13 HP and Petey Pirahna has 1 HP. But then why is it that when the POW does 7 damage to it, clearly less than 13, it dies immediately? Does it have to do with Petey dying meaning all the other targets die as well?

@@PsychoticSonja i believe so yes, since you can 0hp petey before you get Kersti it caps you, but petey is already dead. Then the battle just ends since you kill petey and the drybones gets ignored

Hey, insane run, GG! 🔥🔥 I'm a Luigi's Mansion 2 speedruner and I'm currently running a 2:48:00 run. I would also be interested in playing the game, but I think there is a lot of RNG involved, right? Bingo or attacks from opponents? also the 5 hours that you definitely need as a beginner. Would you recommend running the game?

Thank you! I can definitly recommend running this game cause its very fun imo. The Bingos are just timed Inputs and the enemy attacks are mostly predetermined. If you don't want to run a +-4h category, you could always run the Subcategory Big Cheep-Cheep Rta. (You can also find a few Cheep runs on my channel) Gl with your runs!

@@Braggy_mp.4 So, Big Cheep-Cheep Rta is basically beating the Big Cheep-Cheep in Surfshine Harbor as fast as possible. The run is roughly 1h long and you just play parts of World 1, 2 and 3

Idk if this is faster or not but you can one-shot the Pokey & Blooper bosses with the boombox and squirt gun combo.

​@@davyjones3105It's a lot slower. Sure, the Boombox would only take a minute to get, but the Squirt Gun would take multiple, defeating the purpose of getting it to fight the bosses to begin with.

Yes, the game doesn't tell you this, but you'll get more coins for specific star colors
