@@sdekoning2100 Vivian is initially a villain that you fight multiple times in previous chapters. Her sisters treat her poorly because they're secretly jealous of her beauty. When her sisters enact a cruel and unjust punishment on her, Mario (who just had his identity stolen) helps her out, and she is moved to help you in return. When she later finds out she's been helping Mario the whole time, the guy that she's supposed to be helping take down, she initially feels tricked and betrayed, and leaves you. But partway through the boss fight, after she's done some thinking, she decides to join you, because Mario was the only one who ever showed her kindness. It just felt awesome, while you were all alone having to fight your party, for a former enemy to have your back. Recruitment of former enemies is one of my favorite video game tropes / cliches and I'm sad you don't see more of it nowadays.

I got to say, I really love this one! The Doopliss chapter in TTYD was always my favorite because Vivian joins you, and Doopliss is one of my favorite Paper Mario characters. I love how Doopliss has to cover up the fact he is taunting the real Mario with the whole body stealing thing, Goombella, Koops, Flurrie, and Yoshi Kid start to get suspicious of Doopliss, and Vivian vowing to help Mario get his name and body back and finally finding someone who accepts her for who she is. So, needless to say, great job as usual!

English, the Italian translation which outright states it AND fun fact the Japanese (where the game of course originated, being a Nintendo product) term for trans-women and crossdresser "otonoko" is the same (and is even used for gay men and lesbians, just to make it MORE confusing and convoluted!). I'm just wondering if it's a part of a joke. Probably not as they always credit everyone even in their meme videos. Probably were talking and then got the idea of poking fun at people saying they are stealing from each other by having Juno be the one that actually wrote it for this channel.

That is just so catchy because it alludes to how mario knows that doopliss is using his physical image to manipulate his (mario's) friends, but at the same time mario's friends don't know they're puppets under doopliss' influence (with the exception of vivian).
