Just a suggestion. I made mine with putting a loop on my wire, then pushing the wire up from the bottom of the tassle, coming out at the top, then I added my beads and made another loop for the lobster clasp at the top. Then I did like you did, and decorated the top of the tassle. I am going to make some, using your idea. Thanks again!

So pretty! They do make 'tassel caps' that you could glue on to the top and then add a jump ring to attach your beads.

Hi there, thanks for sharing this video, i just started watching it, i noticed your cutting with scissors, this is what i was also going to do, then on KZbin, i saw someone laying the paper down, they pressed a flat ruler onto the paper, they'll be cutting & they first marked the upper area on the wrong side with a ruler it was about 1/2" or a bit more going straight across, than for the rest of the material she was going to slice the lines in, she used a rotary tool, while pressing down on that ruler, it looked a lot easier & quicker & neater than using scissors, so i just wanted to share this with you & your viewers.

You could attach a piece of tyvek to the inside of the paper to make a loop before you roll it, attach your jump ring to that before you roll.

Late comment I know, but I just wanted to say: I have seen a few tutorials and yes some people do add their wire from underneath to make it more secure, which I prefer, but yours are also much prettier than a lot I have seen! Besides that, no one is going to be using them to swing on so I'm pretty sure that yours are plenty strong enough anyway! Plus I like how that gob of glue holds the wire AND the first bead snug to the tassel top. It looks better I think to cover the whole coil of paper with a bead, so your way is perfectly fine and gives a smooth join between tassel and bead. My second point is you are WAY too hard on yourself with regards to your teaching ability! There are some crafters who make these videos for a living and often leave us staring at their desk while they run off to find something they forgot, or have their dogs barking or kids hollering in the background! And we still watch them! It's life! The few times you were faffing slightly we wouldn't have even realised if you hadn't have told us! That's how miniscule they were! Not even mistakes, just a case of nerves really, making you worry. You may not have fancy equipment but your video was clear and the sound was perfect! Do you know how many drive us insane with barely audible voice, all over the place instructions or music booming out at us...? Especially the crap KZbin music like that God damn whistle song! UGH!!! I'd rather watch videos like this and actually learn something than be blown away by fancy camera work and a crafter who thinks she's god's gift to the crafting community! Honestly I found this a really great tutorial and I wouldn't say it if I didn't! All you need is confidence! 😀😀😀
