Thumbs up for sure . . . I love these, and the tutorial was so easy to follow. I like both sizes as it would depend on my use. Great for my jewelry tools that I haven't used yet. (Ha! I want I want, but I need to USE!) . . . I've seen people make hand-made journals and they have a tasselly-beady attachment at the top of the outside of the journal to make it just lovely - I can see these being used that way for sure! Thanks as always Nina.

Hi Nina, This is a nice craft and artsy project. I can see it being used bookmark in handmade journals. I am thinking of attaching at the bottom of the binding, so it will be out of the way when working in your journal; and it can be utilized as a page marker by pulling up between pages with the extra end length (of any fiber, ribbon, string, fiber, or thin chain) with the tassel hanging from the top of the binding over the edge being decorative on your shelf. This would be a nice way to display your journals, and have them available to enjoy and share. With copic stitching, you can change the order of stitching so this tassel is your starting point. I would have this start on the inside sewing to the outside, while you would leave extra length with the tassel. That way the tassel would hang over the top of the binding again, but would be out of the way when working in the journal. When returning back to the top with the stitching you can tie it off on the inside, or you could hang the end over the top again with either another tassel or a bead/string of beads as you desire. This could be repeated with each signature, or all the signatures you have for that journal. My other thought is using a "used/colorful" baby wipe cut in half and used end to end as your paper for the tassel. Oh, maybe with a strip of Tyvek. Could you cut a thin strip of Tyvek and make a ruffled ribbon heating it? Then use this ruffle to wrap around the top about three times. (I have not done any of the Tyvek stuff you have, but can visualize it as a possibility. I would think it cut and hang well just as a painted fabric for the tassel itself.) I guess you can tell my brain cells are spinning with how to utilize these lovelies.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment Monica. Good to see your brain spinning. You've come up with some good ideas!
