How we can use paperless-ngx for office documents.

@elestio How can I use a local folder to me consumed by the app on the server like via SMB or something comparable? My scanner saves all documents on my PC under ~/Documents/Scans . How can I configure it so that this Directory is automatically being consumed, so that I do not need to open the web UI and manually drag and drop the files? So as if it were local installation?

We expose on the VM a folder /opt/app/consume/ where files are scanned it's possible to configure a sync between your local folder on your computer and that folder on the VM using Rsync or SFTP for example

Yes, you can modify the consume folder path into any folder that you like. If you do it via portainer, then you just need to re-deploy.

install paperless. Try to feed it some doc files : - "Format not supported" OK feed it some odt files : "Format not supported". Delete paperless.

yes we do have a folder (/opt/app/consume) where you can upload documents and they will be auto imported
