Get a collapsible table from Walmart or Lowe's. They fold up to go in a closet but you can cut out without being in the floor. I love mine.

Giiirrrrlllllll i have been making my own wedding dress and my dream for the skirt is EXACTLY like this, but ive been feeling stumped/intimidated by figuring out measurements and stuff, but i feel so much better seeing our ideas align so thank youuuuuu ahhhh 🥰Thank you for also linking the fabrics, its nice to have more websites for reference, esp for really wide voile Also, for sewing with pets, i usually either 1) tire them out and trick them out of the room to close the door, 2) put some fabric ive already cut or worked with [current or old project] near where i am about to cut, cause then they sit on it instead of the fabric youre working with[usually most successful for me], 3) give them snacks in a far away location from where you cut fabrics, so while they work on that, you might be able to escape

I know from some of my friends with pets, they put a decoy fabric next to them when they're cutting fabric. So the pets sit on the decoy and not on the working pieces. Maybe it helps. :'3

@PaperStxrs *Here's how to pronounce the word "VOILE" it is a french word. I am a French Canadian from the province of Quebec and will help you say it properly so you can add a new word to your French vocabulary. So to start you take the English word "VOCAL" and split the word into two syllables which would be VO and CAL. You then just take the name ALLAN and split the name into 2 syllables as well. Which would be AL+LAN. You then just take the first syllable AL. Take both first syllables of each word that is VO and AL. If you pronounce the two syllables together VOAL. Combine together you would say the word VOILE in French. Hope it helps have a wonderful day!*

I would suggest when working with expensive fabrics I would build a indoor fence or gate that goes high enough for your animals to see you, but always allowing you to have room. When you take food, errands, or bathroom breaks then carve out time to attend to them. Animals are like little children, they need discipline, direction, and lots of love

I love this dress! Personally, I do not care for strapless necklines or spaghetti straps, I like a more solid neckline, on everyone, bar none, but that is just me. But even for the neckline and shoulders, I still absolutely love everything, about this dress! That bodice and skirt are just exquisite! I love the soft pink, the gathers, ruffles, just WOW! I love your work and as a young designer (13) your patterns have helped me a lot. I started sewing at 11 as a way to cope with the fact my cat I had known my whole life pasted it was hard and sewing was a stress reliever that I was surprisingly good at as the years went by I could not afford a gold sewing form but I used my old dolls and would see many dresses on them but about a month ago I got a email from my school and knowing I like to see they had put together some stuff had got a sewing form for me and lowered the price to 20 bucks so I could get it I have not made it yet but iv started this dress and it’s so beautiful I hope I can be As good as you are.

It’s a beautiful dress, the color is perfect for you, it’s romantic and charming. The only thing that throws my eye is the sleeve. I know it’s all subjective but I find the sleeves detract from the work and the silhouette of the bodice. The skirt is so floaty and romantic, I don’t think it needs the augmented sleeve. That being said, it’s a tremendous dress that thousands of women would want to wear. Great job!
