I remember Mary getting discovered on a programme called opportunity knocks way back in the sixties I only lived up the road from her I lived in Ammanford mary lived in pontadawe, she was a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice I believe Paul McCartney took her under his wing, and the rest is history as they say, I don't know what became of her, but I do wish her all the very best
@judis6224 Жыл бұрын
Mary left McCartney, as he looked at her as someone very young,and would let her sing songs she wanted,later on ending up with some modern band,she looked different, even sold off her 1960s clothes.

Mary was a doll and her voice just pristine and beautiful...you could listen to her sing all day...a true singer, not a screamer. Not all singers have to be R and B or rock oriented to be good. Those who put a thumbs down must be tone deaf.

We did indeed have a ball....
