I personally would give Salah a 4 year extention. The guy lives a clean life. Eats well, exercises regularly (saw him exercising at home during Covid), and neither embibes nor smokes. Family man. I expect him to still be fit by the age of 38. Ronaldo and Messi still plays.

The man is one of the best ever football players the world has ever seen for he has taken that right wing position like no one ever did to that extent before him while keeping in mind the game is much more technically advanced now and he has done it in almost half the number of games...like when he catches Henry soon people will then realize that he's done it in almost half lesser games which puts a whole new definition nrxt to his World Class Crown... Clearly if the team isnt Liverpool, it would not have been given. Thats how it is...to make sure Liverpool loses the game and wont win the league title. This incident is not that damning...the one last season when Liverpool scored a legit goal at Spurs but was rule offside by var. Everyone could instantly see the goal was miles onside. Yet var played dirty and and confirmed its offside. Howard had to apologise for that error. They are really that dirty. 😢

For me Liverpool have not been at their best yet. Sure we get the win and get the result every game but i think we must still move into the next gear. I like how we dont just press and go forward as soon as we get the ball like in Klopp era, many times we pass back, pass sideways, pass back until we unlock space to go forward. Michael Oliver should be aware the mistake made, foul committed outside the box. Video don't lie. Correct the mistake instead of proceeding with the mistake. If not sure, replay the VAR, that's what VAR is for. Biased and bad refereeing.

Liverpool fan here. VAR is an issue for sure. But I think the bigger issue is crooked officials. Gave contentious decisions, heavily biased, trigger happy on dishing out cards in some games, while not dishing out in some clear decisions. I say clear out the entire shelf, and hire foreign referees like South Koreans or Japanese ones.
