No offense to the sacristan / minister, other churches ring the bell only when Gloria chorus was sung. Dito kasi all throughout kaya na-drown yung sound ng orchestra and choir.

​@@jeromeedsoncunanan3498 Actually walang guideline talaga even on GIRM on how the bell should be rung during Gloria. What I am trying to mention lang is local customary kung paano pinapatunog ang bell during Gloria. It's not about kung ano yung occasion. Other churches rung it only in the chorus. Dito kasi it was all over the song. I know na this is Easter Vigil since light was off at first.

@@AlejandroConsolacionII Yes sir. Ang minention ko lang po is the bell was rung all over the song. Sa ibang churches kasi only on the chorus part. Though this is local customary kung paano pinapatunog siya talaga. Kaya lang, medyo hindi narinig yung full orchestration because of the continuous bell.

Sir AJ Consolacion's arrangement of Papuri sa Diyos is more solemn than Sir Ferdz Bautista. Sir AJ's version is more emphasis to the original arrangement by Fr. Honti in 2/4 time signature with focus on strings and a pipe organ using soft stops. Sir Ferdz's version is more on powerful brass and trumpet sections and tutti pipe organ.
