@@mitchellc4 Jesus was human and went through awakening like everyone else has to. If you read that bible yourself . Specially the red from beginning to end you will also see it. In the holy Bible there are only a few supported facts in it . Two of them are in Mark 13 24 and mathew24 29. It is referring to one of the total solar eclipse that happens every 100 years. We have that total solar eclipse coming April 8 2024. Again immediately after these days of tribulation the sun will be darkened and moon will not shed her light April 08 2024 and will also happen again in the year 2124.

When I was in college many years ago one of my professors showed slides of the excavation that took place of the Dead Sea Scrolls. He was one of the people that worked on it. I didn't appreciate seeing that like I would appreciate it today and would ask many questions and try to learn as much as I could.

The dna testing of the scrolls have been compromised!! It does not matter where the paper of the scrolls are from due to bartering and wide spread trading . What it will show is which fragment is from what sheet .. shows which fragments belong on the same sheet .. that is most important.. and if u notice the women that held the animal skulls said there are people who do not want any findings to prove that current fragments did not come from the same page!!!! And at that point the show takes a left turn . To irrelevant points .. why?!! Right when it got to the proof in the pudding moment .. or a way to absolutely confirm or deny which fragments belong together a random person slipped in a disclaimer and the whole show from that point took a different direction.. hmm🧐🤨

These fragments haven't been exposed to light for 2000 years. They are very sensitive to room and daylight and also to incandescent light.The video was posted 2018 and shows them using ordinary bright incandescent flood bulbs very damaging to parchment & paper. By now they should be using safe archival LED light when examining and photographing the texts.

I betcha things have been found by inconsequentials, so to speak, that established timelines in history, fascinating finds that were not recognized or maybe only one person in the world could recognize that find - and so it was just left there lost to all time.

Let's not forget the work on the Herculaneum scrolls that could prove critical as a window into the 1st century. Documents and writings possibly lost or destroyed in other locations such as the Library of Alexander. The research labor is painstaking yet effective.

I have both copies of "The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible" and "The Dead Sea Scrolls"--both books are English translations of these the scholarly work done by all of these experts. The Dead Sea Bible, contains only fragments of the Scriptures I find in my Bible, however what IS there, almost matches without error what I have in 18 other translations and copies of other various Bibles I own. There are NO changes in doctrine, no changes in concepts or meaning. There might be coma or period in a different place but the meaning is clear. Regarding the Dead Sea Scrolls--their life and culture and understanding of God's Word and of Jesus. They knew that Jesus had predicted the eventual destruction of the current Temple in their time. There is much Apocalyptical language to that effect. The Sons of light also wrote about contamination of the temple--and the coming desolation--predicted in Daniel Chapter 9. They also acknowledged the time Jesus spoke of in Matthew and Luke that was coming when Jerusalem itself would be destroyed, which did happen in AD 70. They also spoke of hope in that Jesus would come again, and restore His Temple on earth, which He said HE would, and this is of course what the Apostle John wrote about in Revelation. This refers to a time AFTER the Second Coming of Christ. It occurs 1000 years after the Coming of Christ, after the earth is burned to ashes, and the righteous walk on the ashes of the wicked. Those of us in heaven long for the earth again, and Jesus Christ then will bring His Kingdom, and the Temple of Jerusalem in Heaven, of which the earthly one was modeled after, down upon the earth, and establish His Kingdom forever. This is what the Son's of Light were also speaking of--though in the Dead Sea Scrolls much of this is fragmented. If one understands Revelation and Daniel and Isaiah, and understands the prophecies, then it is much easier to piece together what they were attempting to state. It was not a dream, but a fact stated by Jesus through His prophets, and quoted by Jesus during His time on earth. Thanks for these programs, they are excellent! Whether a person is Jewish, Christian, Islam, or other, even atheist, or agnostic, one has to appreciate both the scholarship and effort and studies that went into this project. It establishes a basis and standards for studying other ancient literature and documents found in other places of the world! This is most excellent for all the people of our planet. Around the 7 minute mark, you say the dead sea scrolls contain the oldest ot text copies by 1000 years, apparently referring to the aleppo and leningrad codices. But there are septuagint copies like the vatican and sinaitic codices in between, and the nash papyrus of similar age. If you count small quotations, the ketef hinnom scrolls are older.

Currently, I think the best theory on why they were secreted away there, is because of Masada. The Scrolls were found directly across the Red Sea from Masada. The Jews were afraid that the scriptures would be polluted by the Romans if they were defeated at Masada. The first thing the Romans did was change the Jewish Scriptures and then chose who the Jewish High Priest was going to be.

You are so correct Ed. The following is what I know to be true regarding your claim. The Messiah was known to come first as the teacher of righteousness in the first coming of Christ. However there was to be a second coming of the Firstborn of the Most High. This is the time for the revealing of the purpose for the writing and findings of these scrolls. The great war written within these is about to come upon the wicked. This is the day the 'Lord's prayer' comes to fulfilment when the Kingdom of God battles Satan. This is the time when the Firstborn of the Most High receives the sceptre and the commanders staff as foretold by Jacob (Genesis 49:10). This is the time when Joseph will receive double portion of kingdom blessing. When this prophesy is realised that great King and High priest will come on the clouds when every eye will see him. He will come to rule the nations with an iron rod and will tolerate no lie or deception. That Son of God receives all authority over the earth because to him the obedience of the peoples belongs. It was by Judah's linage that King was born by the virgin Mary when her son was named Yah'oshua (Jesus in English) Matthew 1:21, 24, 25 prophesied to be blessings of breasts Genesis 49:25. This was the first miraculous birth unknown to man as written by the scribes as spoken by God's prophets. In the second coming of that Son of God it is by blessings of the womb as proclaimed by Jacob in Genesis 49:25 referenced in Matthew 1: 22,23 prophesying the second coming of the Son of Man being the Firstborn of the Most High God which is as prophesied in Hebrews 1:5;6. That prophesy was fulfilled in 1971. Another fulfilled prophesy is written in Revelation 12:4,5. "And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth that when she did give birth he might devour her child. And She gave birth to a Son, a Male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was caught away to God and to His throne. An angel was chosen from heaven in 1966 when Almighty God told me these prophesies were about to be fulfilled and they were fulfilled just as told to me. There is much more that must become known about this all backed by scripture fulfilled whilst the 'Dead Sea Scrolls' found on the year that woman was born is true when it relates to the forces of light versing the forces of darkness and the time for that battle is now. Those who desire to know their God and their Christ who is now called Immanuel meaning when translated 'With Us Is God' Matthew 1:23 being he who is anointed and empowered to rule over the earth. This empowerment didn't happen in the first coming when Jesus came to gather his servants from earth who will rule with him over the earth in this second coming just as we are taught to pray 'Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done as in heaven also upon earth etc.. Earth must rid itself of all unrighteousness in obedience to that master and Lord of Righteousness and his kingdom priests in whom no unrighteousness is found Rev. 14.

I recently learned that the Dead Sea Scrolls proved a translation error In the King James version. I believe it was Isaiah 21: 8 it was corrected in the new American standard. Evidently in Hebrew "watchman" and "lion" are spelled almost the same only a dot or something different.

Allah revealed the Torah to Moses and Allah revealed the injeel to Jesus thoses scriptures were corrupted by man , yes the word of God was corrupted thats why we find paul teaching contradict Jesus teaching . And the gospels you have now are the gospels of mark , matthew , luke , john , and thoses authors are anonymous and they didn't live in the time of Jesus which mean they are not the witness of Jesus teaching . What you need is the gospel of Jesus , what he was preaching , you will not find it because it was corrupted , i can prove it by showing some contradictions in the bible or some bad word about God . For exemple this comparison : torah insult God by saying that God is shouting like a drunken warrior . Psalm 78:65 Suddenly the Lord was up on his feet like someone roused from deep sleep, shouting like a drunken warrior. By using our logic , the divine will not reveal such comparison words , God is almighty and its against his nature to compare himself to a drunken person , its an insult made by jews , they corrupted their scriptures .

God said He would preserve His Word. I think the finding of the Book of Enoch among the rest of the books of the Bible verifies its historical use and also has fueled its current value to our generation in understanding the history of the world, the rebellion of the angels and God’s plan which has been and is playing out as He said it would. It strengthens my faith in God and helps me to understand current affairs and how demons are involved in deception in our world.

You know, guys ... if they were in hurry to get out of Dodge, they were unlikely to stop to make jars. More likely they grabbed whatever was there. Those, and the cowhide, could easily have come from someplace else, but still have been written (scribed) in Qumram. Just because I own a book printed in CA doesn't mean I lived in CA. Someone could look at the differences between goat and cowhide (my bet is cowhide is thicker and stronger and you can do more things with it, and it has different ink absorption characteristics). Sure, each new analysis sheds some light.

Interesting observation. From my understanding, according to the Scriptures, John the Baptizer was related to Jesus (Gospel of Luke). It is possible that John being from “the wilderness” studied with the Essenes and taught these things to Jesus. However, there were many apocalyptic preachers and prophets during that era and Jesus, being a carpenters son, traveled and listened to these stories and made it his own. There’s so much speculation as to what proto- Christianity derived from. All we can do is guesswork at this point.

You know what I always think of when I hear the story of how the Bedouin shepherd boy found the one of the most monumental insights into civilizatio's origin, the Dead Sea Scrolls? The boy himself. I promise you, the kid was never compensated adequately or even in a token way for his incomprible contribution to humanity's character. Probably continued as a shepherd and then his memory/identity was blown awsy like dust by time. The dead sea crolls confirm the OT almost fully, there are only sometimes used other words which however, don't affect the meaning. Actually the only change that was seen through the DSS that I personally know of is that in one passage they word "sons of God" was replaced with "sons of Israel" in the Massoretic texts (what we now have of the OT). God preverses his words, halleluYah.
