Parachute Found recently is not DB Copper's

Later, the Seattle FBI claimed the parachute was NOT Cooper's. Two reasons: First, Cooper parachute packer Earl Cossey claimed it was silk, and Cooper's was nylon. Problem: Silk is biodegradable and the chute would rot. Second, FBI says it might be Floyd Walling's, a Marine pilot who bailed out in 1945. Walling walked out of woods to Yale, WA. For chute to be his he would have to cross either Merwin Lake or the Lewis River. Walling never crossed any rivers, just walked out thru the woods.

When that parachute was found, it was stuck to the ground. The father of the kids who found it, cut it off. So something buried under that that chute. Can't say it's Cooper's body, but...why not dig it up?
