I would recommend only one thing. Your parachute post is tipped forward a bit. The best way to ensure the post stays vertical is on the last two or three wraps of thread when creating/wrapping the base, pull the thread tightly to the rear and wrap the shank a couple of times. This will pull the post into the vertical position and secure it's position. You do fine work. I like the idea of using the CDL feather stem for the body. The stems are almost indestructible. Thanks for posting.

+Mark Patenaude You are tottally right Mark. When I posted it. It was veary irritating for me, because I could see the problem, thanks for you ideer and kind words. But I also has to edmid that it is dam hard to tye good flies exactly every time you try to film it :-(

+SMHAEN My pleasure. I could tell that for some reason you were very shaky compared to your other videos. Hey, we all have good and bad days don't we... Someday and when you get a chance please email me at fishes-with-fly@comcast.net. I'd like to know what inspired you for your upright wing style and I also would like to make a proposition regarding something that I think you will find of great interest to you. Thanks. Mark

Thanks so much for your quick response! I tie flies in sizes 12-20. Is the midge bobbin best suited for these size flies? Many thanks once again!
@SMHAEN6 жыл бұрын
Yes Midge Bobbin (Blue Color) is best for smaller flies.
