I like all of your videos, but the best I've seen so far was the lanyard knot that you demonstrated in the first half of this video. Thanks!

Thank you Mark for a first rate guide. Using your expert instructions I have successfully managed to tie my first knot with confidence, and to create a pararcord lanyard bracelet for my mora camp axe. Keep up the good work!

Ok so I literally bought Paracord for the first time yesterday because I dropped wayyyy too much money on a hatchet...but holy shit I followed this tutorial (drunk as a skunk) and first try I have a sexy lanyard for my hatchet. I DID use a photo instruction set for the lanyard knot because drunk people need to pause A LOT with videos. But I am crazy happy with the result, I wish I could post a photo of my own as a response. And drunk luck with a 16 foot piece of Paracord...I had only 1 inch excess on one end with 0 measuring. I should play the lottery tomorrow 😁.

Is a good tutorial, but something I just don't understand, why you need to teach people to attach the axe or maybe a blade to the user wrist, I'm a forest guy and go hiking in Forest every week, I use my axe and Parang to cut my way through the thick forest, the last thing I ever wanna do is to attach my hand with any one of my axe and blade, just imagine you swinging a 0.70kg parang or axe and you lost grip from them and they attached to you wrist..... The momentum of the swing + the paracord attach to you hand will swing back at you chopping or slicing off meat from your the other arm or legs. It's very dangerous to attach a line with your swing hand. Attaching a small knife is ok because it's not heavy and it will not have enough weight to create the kinda fatal back slash.

You'd want it attached if you were at a campsite with others -- far worse than it dangling and hitting your leg is flying away and hitting someone else in the head.

@@KrisBenson79 how can something you swing directly down end up flying at somebody's head think it over
@KrisBenson79 Жыл бұрын
@@escapetherace1943 - you've clearly never seen an axe throwing event... and you're not swinging the axe directly down. It's going from above your head to the ground in front - if you lose grip halfway through your swing, that axe is flying straight. All about physics.

Watch this at 1.5x speed or it will drive you nuts. The uber-slow speech is beyond aggravating. That said, nice lanyard.
