You don't need to singe the top end. Tighten the finish tag end in the loop and cut the line leaving about 1-2" tag end. Then pull the tag end under the wrap for a cleaner, singeless finish.

Nice! I used this technique to wrap a bugle. Left the tails about 2 inches long, and tucked them away in-between the tubing. Then I thoroughly wet the paracord and let it dry. That stiffened and tightened it up very nicely!

Great video. Was able to put a wrap on a flashlight (Sofirn Q8 Pro) of mine. The metal gets a bit too hot to hold without it on higher levels and this seems to have fixed the issue. Lets me use it on a higher brightness without heat being a concern.

Wow,at first...could not do it....But when you really concentrated It becomes easy....I didn’t even use paracord just thin rope...nice vid
Tarred back line, and jute or sisal are viable alternatives depending on the projects. I use paracord quite a bit, but it can be a bit bulky for certain projects.

@jamesdolan52365 жыл бұрын
@@maaifoediedelarey4335 sorry, that was supposed to be "bank line". (Good old autocorrect). Bank Line is a tarred twine, often used by fishermen when making trot lines. Bank line has a good tensile strength and is much thinner and less bulkier than paracord.

Does anyone know how to remove the cord again? I love how this handle feels and it's super nice to carry some additional cord, but how do I get it removed from that grip after I wrapped it?
Nice technique, but can anyone tell me if this is a practical technique if you are in the wilderness and actually need that Paracord? Is it simple enough to unwind (without tools) or is there another method I should be looking for.
@willtube614 жыл бұрын
Have you tried snipping the top leftover to about an inch, then pulling the end into the wrap using the bottom length? Then use a tool to tuck the bottom end under the wrap as well. Would be cleaner than leaving the end exposed. New to this so just wondering if there's a disadvantage to it.
