It looks like the perfect vacation for adults and children alike. Letting the kids roam free without phones and computers for a week is probably the best thing you could do for your kids. I remember riding horses when I was growing up and those memories are some of the best I have. I learned to take care of the horses before I was allowed to ride them and the life lessons I learned back then I’ve carried with me my entire life. If I could spend every summer on a dude ranch I would be in heaven.

Ranches are a great place for kids to enjoy lots of freedom in a safe environment. I remember one ranch we were filming where there was a family from New York City. We were sitting on the porch of the lodge and the kids were out on the expansive front lawn. They would go out about 50 feet and look back at their Dad, and he would wave them off, telling them it was ok. And they would go another 50 feet and look back and he would wave his approval. He saw me watching this and said "My kids have grown up in New York City where they can't go a block for a quart of milk without a security guard accompanying them. They've never known this kind of freedom." I told him they would always remember this vacation and someday they would being their kids to the ranch and reminisce about how they came with their parents years ago. We see a lot of 3-4 generations of families coming to a guest ranch. Nearly all will tell you, it just feels like home.

Wonderful movie. I live in Wisconsin. My late husband and I retired in Buffalo. I love horses 🐎 and my husband enjoyed fishing. On vacation days, we 🏕 in 🏊♂️and enjoyed the giant pool in the park. The area is God's country 🙏 America 🇺🇸 the Beautiful.

I’d gladly spend some time at this place. Not riding, I think, but fishing and beer 🍻

Many guests go for the fishing, hiking, natural surroundings, wildlife, and getting in touch with friends and family. We like to say people find their humanity again when they disconnect from the daily grind and digital lifestyle and rediscover the really important things in life. We highly recommend it. They truly are transformational.

@@HorseTVGlobal ok. I’m not even from the US. You almost scared me away there 😅 Is it possible to get to a place like yours, and not having to be with other people? Because it looks really beautiful.

@@MrUnit731 Well, a guest ranch wants you to do what you enjoy, and have the opportunity to share the experience with others, at meal time, or events and activities. Most guests enjoy meeting people from all over the world and developing new friendships. If you would prefer to be by yourself, you might enjoy touring one of the country's many National Parks, where you can enjoy the benefits of nature, fishing, etc., without interacting with others, and plan your own schedule and itinerary. Hope that helps.

Well, now the horses are rounded up from the night pastures and into the corrals in the morning where they are groomed, saddled, and ready to go for the day's trail rides. An exceptional ranch experience!
