There's an old popular malay *pantun* (rhymes with specific formats) which goes like this: *Yang kurik itu kundi* *Yang merah itu saga* *Yang baik itu budi* *Yang indah itu bahasa* In english, that'd mean: The one that's spotted (with spots) is _kundi_ (a type of seed) The one that's red is _saga_ (the seed you found) The one that's good is kindness The one that's beautiful is language In the old days it was the custom for the malays to write and even speak, in beautiful flowery language, for eg writing a love letter to the apple of your eyes 😊 This *pantun* serves as a reminder that everyone should watch their language (no curses and expletives etc) as well as watching their manners

Shame the weather was not on your side. That pouring will help foam up the tea. Looked good on a cold day. That weather was hectic. And the boat ride.😂 Love watching your travels. That's teh tarik (11:49 min), or tea pulled/pulled tea in literal translation :) There you filmed a lady making the tea by pulling it 😄. The purpose is to cool the tea a little, mix the ingredients thoroughly and of course to create the cool looking foam :)

I used to spend months there as my bro worked there in KK and we had a speedboat and Hobie cat. So spend alot of time on the islands which were deserted weekdays and packed at weekends. Mainly Mamutik and Sapi islands. Used to waterski there too. Shame about the weather. Looks amazing when the sun is shining !! :)

I went to Borneo last year along with going to Brunei as well and stayed mainly at KK but I did go to Sandakan, Semporna, Sipadan and Mabul Islands. Anyway, I did this tour but I did 3 islands (Manukan, Manutik and Sapi) - Sapi and Manukan were great but avoid Manutik as there were sand flies everywhere. I am hoping to go back to Borneo Malaysia next year

The place y'all are at is close to Balabac island, or the south end of Palawan. If you go to Palawan go check out the crocodile park. They have a stuffed "Lolong" at the time the largest crocodile in captivity. So I'm into snorkeling and diving, and I don't think that would be a good spot. This video is from 4 weeks ago. .,.. I'm pretty sure you two didn't get eaten. Think about that area in terms of crocodiles. Sharks aren't nearly as scary. Also that area has the irukandji jellyfish. So always have vinegar. For most jellyfish first use any kind of alcohol, then anything that has monosodium glutamate. Alcohol stops the sting and Adolph's Meat tenderizer sucks the poison out. The latter might help with irukandji more commonly known as "Box Jellyfish". I'm guessing yall have checked out what else is deadly poisonous in that region ?? The box jellyfish is a scary little MF vinegar stops the neurotoxin. If applied immediately. You may not have to suffer in horrindous pain for several days. The most common ones around there are not the tenie tiny ones (Which are the worst) The ones there are irukandji, which are easier to spot cuz they have tentacles about 3 foot long. They still hurt like hell. So keep vinegar with you when at the beach in that part of the world.

@@annetterobinson3213 You definitely need to be in good physical health. I would not recommend the climb for anyone with heart or lung issues. I remember that two or three people from my group (out of 10 or so) had to turn back early in the morning (4 a.m.) on the second day as there are sections that are quite steep. For me, the worst part was the return hike down the mountain. It played havoc on my knees! Never the less, the climb should be on everyone's bucket list - that is if you're in good physical shape. I highly recommend it.
