​@@Hammurabaei mean true but given the player base it simply wouldnt have been economical. Its ok to acept weak realeses stay around and wait for updates but when people dont stay around and their no gsrentee the updates will bring back enough people i understand. Plus given you can buy the full game and the little dlc for £10 its probably one of if not the best value for money paradox game (next to vic2) so its worth a try and if you dont want to support them on the game their is always other ways to play 😉☠️

My praises to you. You video+modpack actually inspired me not only to play my first mega campaign, but also Ck3 for the first series time. But, while trying to even start it as Bakhmut it took me 2 tries to actually start it because of mods. Known problems(For me on Pre Persia Flavor Pact version, 1.10) in CK3: 1. Submission to Authority - Crashes game completly on loading. 2. Loyal To A Fault - Breaks Tribal nations completly, they dont have any buldings and plus game ends after death of every leader because succession is broken. Embrace Feudalism decision also dont show up. 3. Free Camera for Royal Court - Down allow you to gather court and do anything in court which not include looking around. 4. Coronations Mod - Makes AI on England, France and etc fall apart because they go into debt of minus -12k and even more. I guess it have something to do with fact that you can use this decision without it stoping. 5. Giant Trait Is Good - Dont know if cause any problems but other guy made version for last version of the game(At least in 1.10) and even author left link to it in comments of original. 6. Dynamic Lifestyle XP - Although mod is working, 1.9 added some modifiers that this mode if wiped out. There is an updated version by someone in comments. I know this is not Hammurabae fault of this bugs shoving up, I am just leaving this comment for other people who would love to start their mega campaign using this modpack. Just turn this mods down and you can play the game, at least from what i have seen in it.

@@Hammurabae After deleting this two mods that I was talking about I have not ecountered game ending bugs(Well if you count royal court as minor problem). Also i just remembered that for some reason all empire fell at the beggining of the game I am on 1407 and there is literally 0 empires and you can count Ai kindgoms with your fingers.

This completely changes how my mega campaign gon look, I was originally gon go from imperator Rome to manor lords to a map reset in ckIII to a map reset in V3 to frostpunk to Frostpunk 2, it’s still gon be like that but with less map resets

Great video in the middle of my own grand campaign, playing as the heirs of Ragnar Lodbrok through his son Ubbe. I now own most of Scandinavia in 1100 and recently converted to Christianity, starting a huge civil war that wiped out half of my family. So, I hope to use some of your tips to continue being interested

@@baileygregory9192 I started as Duke Robert de Hautville of Apulia and formed the Kingdome of Sicily. As of the EU4 start, I control most of the Boot as well as Corsica and half of Sardinia. Most of CK3 was spent fighting the HRE as it constantly shattered and reformed itself and fending off holy wars from the Muslims in Tunis. The HRE was actually kind of interesting because evertime they reunited (or I suppose reconqured) it was under a strong centralized Emperor. Luckily they seemed to have very little interest in Italy. Probably do to the combination of me and rebellious vassels making it kind of a lost cause. But near the game's end they got a little crazy. After the new Emperor reconqured some lost territory after the HRE's was shattered last, he then successfully subjugated both France and Norway. Though, it only lasted for like 5 years before they and a bunch of other vassels rebelled and shattered the Empire..... again. There was other stuff just as interesting that happened and it was probably one of the most fun CK games I've played and I can't wait to see and influence what happens next in the EU4 portion. P.S. Sorry for the essay.

I do agree you made a good choice playing as Robert in Apulia as that my personal favourites start date. I'm planing on doing my first mega campaign as crete in imperitor rome (in February next year when I get a new laptop) but idk if starting in imperitor rome would be too wacky

Hi Hammurabae great video. I've got a question, is it better to use vic2 or vic3, personally I like the economy and politics part of vic3 but the overall diplomacy and warfare seems a bit lacklustre compared to vic2 which is more dynamic. Are there any mods which fix these problems?

With mods victoria 3 for sure, I have a mod list in the video description. If you start one now by the time you get to vic the 1.5 update should be out fully too and mods update fixing a lot of the military problems.

You can also fix borders or make sides less or more powerful. I converted my ck3 save and the HRE has members in Egypt and Tunis.

4:00 holy crap this is awesome I had done research on this but found nothing and didn't feel like risking the mod not being compatible with the converter. But it is!? A question, are the earlier start dates also compatible?

Can you do a updated tutorial on how to get the total war games work with EU4? And possibly troubleshoot solutions. The old tutorials aren't of any help on getting Empire and Napoleon total war to work as they should.

@Hammurabae , last I checked, there was only one mod that allowed you to do battles in first Empire Total War, then later, if you wanted, Napoleon, and that is Total War Battle Mod. Unless I am brutality mistaken.

I recommend simply fighting a custom battle in the game then using the "god" command in eu4 for the side that won. The mod that does this is really bad for Empire and Napoleon

i wish paradox give an option to tweak the game to make it fit a mega campaign without forcing player to hold their power all along to not steam role and finish it ar eu4^^ like extended duration for all action , effective anti blobing mechanics ect ect. maybe a glorious moder will do it one day^^ cause i really want to do a mega campaigne but already know i can't old my self for hours and hours and play "bad" to not obliterate AI.

To be honest I've found that ck3 (espeical starting at 1066) has good anti bloobing and vic 2 infamy limit stops blobing too (idk about vic 3 tho it seems the same) its mainly just a problem in EU4 (as the goal of HOI4 is to blob and take over the world). I think its just a problem with eu4 really I guess you could always devide your nation after eu4 going into vic3 or even try playing tall

You should be fine certain mods have issues however with a bit of meddling you can get it to work.. for the conversion do it in a vm

At time stamp 3.45 you mention to "play vikings or british civil war" with is the british civil war. That never happened, not only is their no chill wars happening in that region but their also no britian. Britian isn't one country its 3, the fact their devided isn't a civil war and the vikings in the North aren't a civil war its an invasion
