Now what comes into my mind after watching 33:55 the precursor civ there....is it possible for a planet to change it´s overall climate over the years you play....let´s say this arctic world becoming a desert planet some 100 yrs in the future due to it´s glaciers melting away?!

As far as I'm aware planets only change with some kind of 'late game' terraforming technology.

A lot of inspiration seems to have come from EvE Online, at least visually. The pirate base at 18:00 ish looks like a rogue drone hive (I think, it's been a while!) and the ships look like Drake Battlecruisers :)

When the Friendship Force was tracking the space pirates: Is that just the default combat computer that doesn't understand the idea of an intercept trajectory and will it be upgradeable later on? Or did it take that stupid angle because it was set with the basic follow command and if you want to intercept you have to do that manually?

Y'all should probably research better strobe lights for your Friendships so that they can go and throw a rave near the unfriendly alien colony.Also, learning how to send a bunch of friends done to their planets to say hi and make sure they safe inside their houses would be good as well, then everyone can learn to be friends of Blorg.
