@@ZX3000GT1 There is nothing weird about that all. Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi are Special Conditions tracks, while Grindelwald and Eiger Nordwand are normal race tracks. But you shouldn't even worry about the question why exactly I picked these particular tracks. And you certainly shouldn't try to evaluate if I picked the "correct" tracks or not. It's completely up to me which tracks, cars or games I want to feature in one of my videos, so the selection can never be "wrong", unless I would promise to show all tracks of a particular type or something like that but that isn't the case here. It clearly states that I am showing 12 tracks and nothing more. Anyway, people like you are exactly the type of people that I don't want to see in my comments, so I won't publish any further replies that you will try to make here. I will leave up your existing comments as a negative example for others though.

the biggest disappoint this video suggest me about GT7 and also GT Sport that i did not noticed befor... is the graphyc engine. I always thoughtthat GT7 ( and Gt Sport too ) had a weir Graphyc engine, a lot of details, but in the same way the 3D structure of the track feels kinda poor, and this video, totally confirm me this feeling. The tracks in all the other GT beside the last 2, make my eyes full and are very satisfying to look, in GT7 and GT Sport, they miss a lot of 3D structure, like they spare a lot ot sources in the develop of the new 3D engine, and look much more similar to classic sim racing from PC, than the peculiar graphyc style that Gran Turismo since the first release, use to bring... GT7 is a very good game for what concern the car handling, but to be honest, for the eyes, iit feels worst then the 2 chapters appeared on Ps3... i don't think is Kazunori Yamauchi himself the responsable of that lack of poligons, but for sure a lot of the people that were in the Poliphony team till those release, are not working for Poliphony anymore, and other programmer been hired for replace them, and you can see the difference in terms of final quality, so not just the lack of tracks, is disappointing me about GT7, but even more the quality of the tracks themselve, maybe even more than the lack... what a waste of opportunity ( even the quality of the replay went badly down... Replays till GT6, were a luxury for the eyes, Replays in GT7, don't give me any emotion , very flat )

The new Grand Valley speedway looks nice and I totally love the highway scenery, but part of me still wishes that they kept Grand Valley speedway as an actual racetrack as seen in previous games.

Why would they get rid of the time tested tracks they've had for years, and across all Gran Turismo games so far? I haven't played the new game yet, are the new tracks better or worse or the same?
@Villoresi6 ай бұрын
As with Rome, it would help to which of the 3 Matterhorn circuits you mean. Admittedly, I never really paid much attention to or especially cared about Motorland. Just as Deep Forest seemed to have been inspired by Greenwood Roadway, I kind of wonder about Red Rock and Meadowdale. If I'm honest, RRV feels rather mundane, even maybe a bit repetitive, in its layout. I'd certainly be interested though in seeing the track designers have another go with the same sorts of component parts to work with. I think a GT7 remake of Midfield could be interesting. Honestly, the results with Grand Valley, Deep Forest, and Trial Mountain have still been far more appealing than the real-world efforts at tracks like Fuji, Hockenheim, and Mexico City. Since I think Grindelwald was likely inspired by Bremgarten, I'd just as soon they recreate that actual Swiss classic, rather than having 3 other, fictional circuits in the region. Now, I wouldn't mind keeping the couple longer rally course tied to Eiger though. I think they could find other real-world locations to drop Deep Forest and Trial Mountain in to, and then bring back El Capitan, which itself has a few rally course options, too. I don't think Apricot Hill is bad by any means, but it also doesn't especially stand out to me. Autumn Ring could be fun in GT7, though i'd hope they'd just leave the layout alone, It isn't meant to be one of those big, int'l circuits in the first place. Cape Ring isn't bad, either, but it feels a bit like they were trying too hard with it. With GT's push toward more realism, I think Tahiti Road would need a significant reconfiguration to better fit with the game as it is now.
@Paragleiber6 ай бұрын
I don't understand your comment about Matterhorn. I don't "mean" a specific configuration but the track as a whole.
@Villoresi6 ай бұрын
Maybe this will also help with my comments on the City Tracks video. I'd have to say that the Dristelen, Riffelsee, and Rotenboden courses are distinct enough to be regarded as 3 separate circuits outright. It's a lot more than just a case of running Monza with or without the Variente Tribuno/Prima. Also, there is no single, long, combined layout at Matterhorn that uses the bulk of all 3. So it's not like you have a parallel there with real-world circuits such as Autobahn Country Club, Ascari Race Resort, or The Bend Motorsport Park. Also, if you meant all 3, then it would seem to make sense to include the onboards for all 3. And if you had 1 in particular you liked over the other 2, then it would have been an easy out to just denote that in the list in the description, rather than making the video longer and more involved. Plus, since they're 3 distinct tracks, to my mind, it would then probably be more accurate to say 14 Original Tracks if you meant all 3. What can I say. I grew up with a Ph.D German engineer and an instrumental music schoolteacher as parents. Being precise, accurate, and clear to the standards they laid out simply wasn't optional growing up. Shoot, what my Dad considers to be a "hobby", restoring and flying old German, wood-and-fabric sailplanes, most people here in the States would probably snort and just call it "more work".
