paragliding landing with lots of gradient wind

You know the feeling. I'm going down and need to land. The square was the best option certainly big enough but I was concerned to get into the rotor of the trees around the square.
The plan was to enter the square as far down wind as possible. One metre above ground the wind was gone and the glider shoots forward. So good decision...
