Thanks for the video Peter, this was very instructive. I have a Delight 3, purchased about 2 months ago, very similar to the impress. So happy you made some things clearer. Happy to see your videos on Algodonales and your biggest XC flight. Different gear for different days, looking forward to trying these new materials and gears. Good times

I'm currently at 150hrs, still on my first harness because I bought one that could grow with me. I have the supair evo lite. Flew it for 8hrs before I put the speed bag on while in tenerife that turns it into a pod harness. It was a faff to get it set up right and can take a few turns to get it on properly. I find they are a must have for uk winter flying, the protection from the cold is the best bit about them.

Thanks so much for your excellent videos. I have just found your site and will watch all of your previous vids to catch up. Please don't cut them short they are anything but boring as you once said. They make me feel like I am there with you. I live in NC USA and there is not a paraglider to be seen anywhere. I t is my dream to do this one day - somehow. Keep up the great work. Loved the time you and friends spent with Adie. All the military vets that have lost their legs need to have a shot at this.

Great harness comparison Peter. I was curious about your new Skywalk harness when I saw you flying it on one of your recent videos, it looks great, can’t believe how compact and lightweight it is, lots of nice little features included as well. All my harnesses are the standard type will maybe invest in a pod type, when we start flying again. I was thinking if you’re after idea’s for tutorial subjects, what about strong wind launch techniques, a good video on the cobra launch would be great, there are a few on youtube but they are a little bit lacking. :-)

If you like what you saw then is best time to step for Pod harness.Love them ❤ so good. Hope soon we will able to fly 🙏 and good idea for future videos about strong wind launch and cobra launch. 👍

Thats why I suggest guys to buy the Lightness 3 because its extremely good, super details, pockets, volume, details to perfection, massive protection level free compress bag and backpack!!! Bigger packing spaces and robust materials, not weak ripstop like on Skywalk harness. The L3 is a bit more than 3 kg. Switzerland just very few people fly Skywalk Range x-alps. Why? First because they prefer swiss product, second : its perfect!

Absolutely 🙏 i love my impress 3 for daily use, 👌

The Xalps skywalk harness is super cool! Very similar to my ozium. I agree a new pilot should fly for at least one full flying season before trying a pod. By the way, I always wonder what you look like with your hair out... 😂 love the black rag.....
@PeterHoldy4 жыл бұрын
That is my secret 🤣 bandana. If i want to walk with out people to notice my then i need put bandana off😁 how is in ozium done back protection? Do you have to blow it ? Cheers
@kevincanfly4 жыл бұрын
The back protection is very minimal. There is a 16cm x 30cm pad just below the tailbone, then the reserve, lastly the back storage gets stuffed with the rucksack and wing bag. The pad can be removed. It’s not a harness for new pilots, it offer very little protection. But it’s comfortable for long flights and packs up very small..

Hey Peter, you also talked about having a chat and in an earlier video mentioned your trip. I'd be happy to go over my neck of the woods in Brazil. I'm a beginner pilot but can surely show you around here. I'm ready to find online and also have a KZbin channel

Thanks for taking the time to do this review. Have you found a technique to stop the Range X Alps 2 from wobbling - yawing from side to side?
@PeterHoldy4 жыл бұрын
You can not stop that wobble but if you know that harness well you can eliminate that wobble with weigh-shifting and active flying. You need just get feel for it. If you know how to fly them then they feels good. 👍

Ho have you try the new gin yeti Xtreme 2? Do you know of It Is comfortable and regolable? Thankyou!
@PeterHoldy2 жыл бұрын
Did not try yeti extreme 2. They will be comfy too but with less protection. Especially when your bum will be dragged over the surface you could destroy extreme 2 very easily. I am pappy to drag my bum on yeti extreme as they are robust 😉 and still light.

Peter i'm trying to find an old beat up wing to buy to learn Kiting. I'm 23 and won't be flying for a few years but I want to practice now. Do you know any websites I should look at? Flybubble is the only one I found that sells these, but they are out of stock.
